Edit: China does listen to our feedback, so given enough time I'm sure they'll fix this problem. Till then, it shouldn't be TOO hard to clean before use. ;)

but they introduce a new problem with each new revision they throw at us.
and yes its not too hard to clean, but can you imagine how the FDA will talk about Carto e-cigs when they test them now?
this is a big deal, not all people read forums, and even those that do often don't see those important findings.
imo these should not be sold until they fix it at the factory.

This is exactly the problem with these cartos. It's not that they are different, or that this is wrong, or that, etc etc etc.. But each "new" and "improved" version just has a new and improved problem. The real question should be 'why do we keep buying them'??

I don't know about the rest of you, but I really don't want to pay extra for a carto I have to carefully pry apart, soak for hours, do this, do that, and THEN it's ready. If we are going to have to fiddle with it to make it work.. it really should cost less.

The main problem I've had with the clearomizers is the notches on the inner seal are too small, preventing it from wicking properly and causing the nasty burnt taste. It may only be an issue on the 2.4-2.6 versions because of how warm they run. I just take them apart and enlarge that notch before using them and don't get burnt nastiness anymore.

The other problem I've found with them is I go through juice like mad vaping these things. The regular sized ones don't last an hour, the XLs go dry within 2-3 hours. I may have to start looking into the tank mods.

Well, I've been singing praises about the Clearo's I've been using. Shoulda kept my mouth shut. First I noticed the tube was spinning on the batt connector. Switched to another new Clearo, this time the dang thing is almost wobbling on the connector. As loose as it is, I don't see how the juice is staying in the cylinder. This is XL 2.7 ohm version. Vapes ok, but I carry my PV in my left trouser pocket. Sorta concerned I'll have juice a soakin my trousers. All at once my worlds a fallin apart: house plumbing's froze up, radiator petcock on my ride to work is a leaking, . . .and now my Clearo's are a going to hell on me. I can remember when people that made something took pride in doing it right. Guess that was awhile back. If I were still a drinkin man I'd get drunk. JMHO

Cheers,

Otrpu, I bought the clearos in a co-op, and while one or two didn't work so well, the rest of them seem to be fine as long as I use standard 80/20 juice and let them sit overnight (i.e. fill them and let them soak)
I have to fill them with a syringe because my mom can't see, but I fill two of the xl's up at night time and she uses them throughout the day and leaves the empties for me to refill. Seems to be working alright for both of us (a fill lasts me two days)

These are the royal smokers Ce2 clearomizers with white tips.

Well, I popped one of the ce2's in my Storm Tank after the 2nd day of vaping. It tasted like burnt ... hair, so I emptied and attempted to do a quick dry burn then.... pop. It's in the junk drawer. Bummer, they could've been what I've been looking for. The first day with the tank was awesome. I vaped all day without dripping or fiddling with anything. I'm debating on whether or not to order more ce2 replacements. The Boge 510's are doing me just fine, so I don't really see the need to waste more money on a 2 day carto.

Ahem... My sentiments exactly. I tried 4 different revisions, yes, I did, and not one carto worked out of the box. I stopped buying them. There are better options.

I don't need a hobby, I need a fake cig to keep me off the real ones.

I've found that these coils are robust, so two days is rare. Most of mine will last a while w/ proper cleaning/dry burns.

@ 'katya', I hear you, most people would not want to fiddle w/ these. I however, like to mod and when modded, these are pretty good for mass produced gear.
