Been vaping almost 3 weeks
..2k in the hole and still going
DIY supplies coming in daily. eBaron Dripper Pro ordered yesterday .I jumped off the ledge in the deep end.

I just ran a spreadsheet too on just equipment. If the figures for breaking even we're based solely on this, I'd be in the green. Or at least close enough for rock and roll. I don't run through a whole lot of juice, about $40 for two weeks worth from the B&M. Which is a little less than half of what my smoking habit was. I'll expect more of an offset when I get ahold of a few more DIY supplies.

Haven't kept track and don't want to know!! But breaking even will take months, I'm pretty sure.
Quit about 3 months ago @5 a pack I've saved ~$450 and I've spent probably ~300 total on supplies/juices so it's working out fairly well for me. To be fair though, I've caught the upgrade bug and I'm starting to buy backups for my backups/tanks/etc, the wife doesnt mind because in the end, my health is more important than saving money.
I usually do a bit of research before making any purchases, so there really aren't any I regret thankfully. Broke my first eGo but thats about it. Thank god I found this amazing forum as early as I did!

I am way ahead myself. I have at least 200 ml of juice of different flavors. I have 2 mechs, 6 egos and an itaste. 5 drippers and one steam turbine that was PIF'd to me. I am about to PIF the steam turbine as well as the Chi You that I received at the same time. I will get another for me. I have saved almost 50% more than I have spent on vaping. I do have several pyrex clearos that I will sell or PIF as well. I thnk in total I have spent about $350-$400 I added it up including juice recently and I have made a couple small purchases as well.

I have been at it over a year and finally got the spending under control. My problem is I am constantly worried of running out of stuff. I DIY now so I have plenty of juice but I have a set of plastic drawers that I call my "Store" I keep charger and battery back ups, lots of cartomizers and protank heads. When something fails or I run out I visit the "Store" Its when I have to restock that kills me.
But there is no B&M stores near me so I have to do it this way.

I really like your comments on the Pay It Forward (PIF). Will be doing the same to give back to ECF on juice that I do not like since I have bought a ton
I broke even with vaping AND buying 2nd hand car just by quitting smoking. Hooray!
i have more than broke even i have 3 apv's one being a provari mini..best purchase.. and 3 ego backs that i never use anymore..going to give them away i DIY and rebuild my own coils so i figure vaping costs me at most 50 cents a day...im lovin it..
