I was trying what flavor to experiment with today and decided to try a waffle variation. Strawberry w/whipped cream belgian waffles. I made it 50pg/50vg just to test out the mix and see if I really liked it. Dang! Thats some great tasting stuff! I can only guess that it will get better if I let it sit for a week. Tons of vapor, but the 50/50 makes it tough to get an easy draw through the atty/cart combo. Think I'll thin it a little with some pg and pga. Or just mix up a small batch of 100%pg and combine the two. Glad I finally broke down and tried waffle. I can finally see why so many TV groupies rave about their waffle mixes!

it is perfect as it is from them so I don't know if I want to mess with mixing my own or not. Gonna place an order from tpa later in the week and thinking about getting a bottle of waffles flavoring.

I figure that it's like cooking. I cook my own meals, and they're yummy and I enjoy them greatly. Nonetheless, there are some chefs around that cook better than I will ever do, and I eat at their restaurants as well. It's no different with juices.

But some things are so drop-dead simple that a novice like me and a master chef like Geoff will produce the same result. I don't know if waffle is one of those things, but it can't hurt to try!

The Perfumers Apprentice has really great prices.. I'm gonna place an order later in the week. They have waffles flavor pretty cheap. I'm gonna try it before I spend $25-30 for it at tasty vapor. Does anyone know if these flavors are as concentrated at ones like lorAnn?

Don't know about waffle in particular, but generally TPA flavorings are more concentrated than LorAnn. On average, in my testing, about 25% stronger for the same flavors, but this depends on the exact flavor. I've yet to find a TPA flavoring that was weaker, though.

Also, in my opinion, TPA flavorings tend to be tastier than the same flavors from LorAnn.

Great!! then I won't have to use so much and that will be more money saved! (as if I've actually saved any so far)

Thanks so much!

I posted this same recipe in another thread. I got it off of another site and wrote it down but have not tried it yet. It's got a total of 21% flavoring with 15% being TPA waffle, 5% TPA maple syrup and 1% Wiltons butter. I also wrote down in my notes to try mixing maple syrup, bavarian cream and vanilla but have no percentages so would need to experiment with these flavors to get a waffle flavor. I'm new to this and have a notebook full of stuff I've written down from different sites. I have mostly just mixed single flavors to start to see if I could get anything good before I actually started mixing different flavors together. Didn't want to waste flavors before I got comfortable with the mixing process.

From what I've read the waffle flavoring everyone raves about from TV is Capella Flavor Drops not TPA. When he went to TPA his customers wanted the old recipe back so he went back to Capella. I've tried both and by far my preference is Capella's Waffle.

great! now I get to order something else!
