I found a PCC for the RN4081's!

My first and primary daily use ecig is a SmokeStik (which is an RN4081). I also have a "Yeti" 510 that I use from time to time (it works great. I just prefer the automatic battery of the RN4081) and a 510 PCC that I got from AltSmoke.com.

On a whim, because the batteries are similar size and have the same style connectors (but different threads) I wanted to see if the 510 PCC would work with my SmokeStik batteries. So, I took a quick look in the charging receptacle in the PCC to make sure it would fit and it appeared to. Then, I grabbed the voltage info for both (packaging and stickers on chargers). They are pretty much the same, as are most ecig batteries from what I have read, and WELL within variance tolerances of each other (further research might indicate the voltages are identicle).

So, I took one of my spare SmokeStik/RN4081 batteries and stuck it in the PCC. It fit quite nicely, the tip LED on the battery started flashing 9indicating it was connected to charger and the light on the PCC indicating it was charging a battery lit up!! It works perfectly! The SmokeStik/RN4081 battery actually seems to fit in the PCC and make contact with the charging connection BETTER than the 510 battery does! Snugger (but not too tight) fit and does not lose contact when chaken or wiggled like my 510 battery does sometimes.

As I type this, the PCC is steady charging one of the SmokeStik/RN4081 batteries with no issues! Of course, I will update if any problems arise although I don't expect any.

I thought my fellow RN4081 users would find this useful

(added note.. I suspect that any ecig battery with similar diameter, length, connection type - "female" connector - and voltages would probably work as well!)

Good job. Yeah I read that by another user on here. This finding was already posted. I just ordered a PCC and a 510. I only have a RN4081 right now so it's nice to know I can use both for the PCC.

I'm using the 4081 and the 510. Battery threads are the same diameter, but they have different thread pitches. Any clamp style device will work on both, but if you have to screw them in, you wreck the threads.

I'm hoping to use it with my dse/103 as well.
They claim to have a 901 and 84 model PCC as well.

Yes. I use the 510 PCC with my rn4081 every day. You don't screw anything for it to work right so the thread pattern makes no difference. The only possible issue is that, while the lid closes all the way, the longer battery does put pressure on it. I took a file and filed away about half a mm from the LED cover and now it fits like a glove.

Got a cloud9 which is similar to if the same as 4081, at least they use the same atomizer as njoy pro and smoke51, rn4081, so what I'm asking did it work or not?????

I just got the RN4081 and it runs out of e-juice quickly and I constantly get a bitter, burnt taste. What could be the problem??

I have two manual batteries for my dse103 that will not go in the pcc for the 103 because it is a flat case and the button wont fit. I had just put my 103 manual battery in my 510 pcc and then read this!! Seems to be charging fine. This is great!! I use a 4081 atomizer with my dse103 with great results. The open atty that came with the 103 stinks. Was going to send the 103 back and Jeff at wordupecig told me i could try the 4081 and might like it, and i love it.

i just put the blue foam mod in my 4081 carts and it is working great. i use a dse103 w 4081 atty and cart.

I have a PCC for my 4081. Aquavapor.com has a couple of different styles. That's where I got mine. Works great!
