And, yes, BP is the British Pharmacopoeia, the same idea as USP or EP. If something says it is BP pharmaceutical grade, that should be fine (different groups tend to harmonize, have similar standards).

First, the science behind Propylene Glycol (PG): there are generally two most commonly used versions of Propylene Glycol; USP/FCC Grade PG and Propylene Glycol Industrial Grade. In our Johnson Creek Original Smoke juice line, we use only the highest purity USP/FCC Grade PG. We do not use any Propylene Glycol in our Red Oak Smoke juice line. GoodDog is correct, we are just e-cig users, not experts in chemicals and only buy our supplies based on good judgement. E-cigarettes carry a risk to all that use them, there are no long term studies on the safety of inhalling the chemicals we are using. We use what we think is the best but everyone must decide for themselves what is best for them. In the U.S. the highest standard for PG and VG is USP (medical grade). Each country will have its own set of standards.
