I got my ego today and I LOVE it! Thank you guys for giving me such great feedback when I first got here. I still have the rest of my kit coming (eg the passthrough, liquids etc) and I know already that this is really the end of analogs - wow! Thank you thank you thank you!!:D:D:D I love the experience of it, and I also think it looks pretty cool, too!

Thank you everyone, I am excited hehe. I decided on my way home from the post office *not* to stop by the convenience store like I usually do. I've still got a couple cigarettes left 'just in case', and I'm really happy about that. I've quit smoking before but this is the first time I can remember feeling so unconcerned having so few cigarettes in the house, and as soon as I got this going lol I just can't see buying another pack of cigarettes. I think I'm done with them :)

Oh and one more thing, when you get your PT do yourself a favor and either tape down or add some glue to the part were the body of the PT meets the chord. A ton of people have them come loose and stop working. That seems to be the weekest link. I take electrical tape and wrap it around the cord right next to the body and then once it's even with the body I wrap some onto the body itself. I didn't do this with my first one and it went wonkey after a month or so, but I fixed it doing the tape thing and now it works. I had already ordered a new one and taped it right away.

Happy Vaping!!!

Well done! Just remember to go easy on yourself and give yourself TIME to cut down and give up IF you need to :) Good to hear you're in such a positive mind frame about it all.
Oh and drink more water now! A must esepcially when actually vaping :thumb:

Yah - you're right :) The store's just up the street so if I reallllly need to I can go get 'em, but so far I haven't had one in almost 8 hours and the last time I did that I felt like I was running a marathon lol, and by the time I made it to 24 hrs without a cigarette, people were throwing them at me. Back then I was using the standard patch - such acompletely different experience, I'm just wowed :)

I was a heavy smoker for many years and I got the Joytech from smokemo.com and haven't smoked analog for 2 months!
Does anyone have suggestions for sites to get good e-liquid?

FreedomSmokeUSA is fantastic. No sooner do I receive an order (like, say, this morning) I'm back on their site making a NEW order. It's insane.

:toast: That was my experience too. I rec'd the ego in the morning, took two drags that night and that was all she wrote. I've been completely smoke-free for 3 weeks and haven't had ONE craving. Not even one. No crankiness, or spaciness, either (both experiences I've had while "quitting" in the past with the patch). I'm hoping you have the same luck I did!

Brad - thank you for the head's up. Looks like I have to add 'electrical tape' to my shopping list ;)

Shanagan - the absence of crankiness and spaciness is pretty astonishing to me. I'd approached this wanting to be a laid back as possible, and at first I thought that was going to be a bigger deal to achieve that. But now? About the only thing I'm really even slightly concerned about is whether or not the liquids show up before I run out!:laugh: This has been so natural and relaxed, it's just wonderful!

I KNOW! lol - don't mean to "yell" I'm still psyched about it. My husband was more like.. I don't know, stubborn about the whole thing, and even he is off the analogs now because they "taste terrible" - he says that while kind of scowling, which is funny. It's almost like he wants to resent the vaping for being better than smoking.
