Does it take a while for the fasttech tracking to get updated? I ordered a few days ago and nothing has happened yet. Not even in Hong Kong :(

Yes, it took 7 days for Singapore Post to give an update on the tracking. Prior to that I just got a message that the tracking number was not registered.

Timeline was something along the lines of the following (times are AEST):

09-5-13 02:30 approx I placed the ordered with fasttech (what was I thinking?)
10-5-13 00:34 I got a FastTech confirmation that my order had been shipped.
17-5-13 ??:?? The Singapore post Tracking was updated to let me know that the package was processed for OS shipping... On the 14th
No further updating of the SG tracking was done. Presumably the SGPost and AusPost tracking systems do not talk to each other.
21-5-13 14.30 Received vape mail from nice postman.

It would be nice if the stuff turned up in 5 days, but I'm glad it was less than 2 weeks. Three weeks would have been a concern.

If it's more than two weeks you can ring Australia Post and they can tell you if the package has reached Australia yet. Call 131318 and then to speed through the automated responses and get a hooman-bean on the line you want selection 3, then selection 3 again. After you get a customer service person (found them great BTW) give them the tracking number and they'll be able to tell you if it's landed, in customs processing, or out for delivery.

Because if you don't look good, we don't look good.

Hah, thanks. I am but a humble lord, not anyone's Highness. That title reference is reserved for Princesses and Empresses. Which we have at least two of. But it does feel great to be smoke free for a year!!

Zapped by a pro-vari, eh? Sounds like someone very familiar with the product....

He could not see on the side of his device how to spell the name? Why do I detect a troll?

Unfortunately, it was serious. Someone offered personal help, which was just as well; the real questions (what atomiser/volts/resistance was being used) didn't get asked until the pro-prothingies had mauled the thread.

Poor noob, exactly why a new vaper should just get an ego or something. No the problem was not the Provari, but it doesn't make it easier to get the thing working when the user doesn't know about volts and resistance, and people spend time defending the battery case instead of finding out what the real problem is. (Not enough liquid in the cartomiser)

The thread got side tracked onto shocks from Vivi Novas at one point. NOT helpful, since the OP was in fact just using cartomisers.

I can confirm the shock thing with Vivis BTW, and I'm pretty sure I know how to avoid it as well. The Protank is more of a mystery. I have measured 0.5V potential at the tip but I'm sure it's much more since my multimeter doesn't do low voltage RMS and I mostly use the Vamo (33 Hz chip) at home.

+2 for using RMS and Hz in the same complete sentence.

Yeah, I read the whole thread and agree wholeheartedly with you. Looks like things turned around in the thread, too.
