I'm guessing that the forum is acting bizarrely and when Ferrel went to check out Ocelot's blog, he got tossed to some 2008 threads. They were still open and he posted in them for giggles. I'm thinking a mod PM'd him a little hand slap.

Just my deductive reading. Not sure if it is the case.

I figured it out and put a note on the blog pages. Since I posted them last to first (so they would appear first to last on the overview page) at the end you have to click "previous" instead of "next" to get the following one. I refused to have my punchline given away without a set-up. Take that ECF!
