just wanted to share a bit of good news...I had bought the TECS finally since I had just enough money and it was my b'day gift to myself....
and then well my hospital visit kinda sucked cuz was worried where that money was gonna come from cuz currently my bank account only has enough in it to last me til the end of the year (just enough to cover my daughters dentist, braces, bill monthly)....well karma came and granted me help :) just sold one of my websites that I've been casually trying to sell for years (sold it for half the price I really wanted but that covers the costs of the site so all's good..no profit made but glad to be rid of it) :D so that covers my hospital bill!

Still waiting on my last test results to come back...

Things have a funny way of working out. Glad to hear about the good fortune and I'm still praying for you. :)

wow really charge 10 ego batteries at once?

Yes, but people still plug them in and leave them overnight, or longer. Imagine one faulty battery going off next to ten others? It would be like the old matchbook on the carpet trick (in the voice of get smart).

lmfao who would really have 10 ego's?

so healthcabin is having a sale on joye stuff ;)
aren't these what you use for dripping ocelot?
[Joyetech] Joye eGo T(Tank) Low Resistance(LR) Atomizer (Type A&Type B)

No, those attys are the weird ones the go with the "T" system or whatever.

These are dripping attys: New ! 510 Single Coil Atomizer [03-G-3] - $2.99 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Sigh. This was my first kit, except the I had regular batteries, not the (pointless) "Upgrade" ones. A 1000mAh upgrade was the next thing I bought (after my local B&M told me that Twists - which had just come out - were junk). Of course, I paid about $70.00 for my kit:

[Joyetech] 650mAh Joye eGo Starter Kit (eGo T Batteries,510 Atomizers)

It's interesting that most of the Joyetech products they are selling are discontinued. I checked to see if they had a deal with Joyetech, but it doesn't appear so. I wouldn't be surprised if Joyetech hooked-up with a vendor, considering that they are likely ticked off at FT. Have you seen this listing? Quite a little dig.

$98.49 Joyetech eVic Mod / E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Kit - 1*18650 battery & US USB charger included / silver / US plug at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Ooo! The copper/bronze ones might look nice with the TECS

5ml HyperTank BCC Glass Clearomizer [02-B-34] - $13.99 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

ETA: NEVER MIND! Now I remember why only co-ops buy from Health Cabin - free shipping on orders of $249.99.

I am really disappointed in Joyetech's new pricing, they are known for quality ego batteries, and the Evic has its fan base. But in reality they offer nothing special ego wise that isn't available from other name brand manufacturers, well maybe some poorly rated tank systems. Vision has a great VV in the Spinner, Kanger and Kgo and others make good fixed voltage egos. Clones are a dime a dozen, of course they are hit and miss.

Evic with the software and the new Emode are different mainly because they offer more bells and whistles, but really, you could get a Vamo or Sig Zmax, Innokin MVP, SVD, ect, for less money if you skip the software. Evic will now be even closer to ProVari in price, at which point I would have to mutter the now infamous words, "Just get a ProVari".

Oh, and Ocey, my SVT is plastic. I do have the solid metal tank waiting its turn. I bought mine before the glass came out, or I would have gone with glass.

I've read "SVT" and "STV" which is why I call it a "Neptune." What an amazing leap forward in design that was. People switched to metal tubes because of tank cracking liquids, but complained that they couldn't see the juice. Okay, let's make a metal tank that you can see the juice in, but we'll make it so it cracks...

Kind of mind boggling isn't it?

I think the metal jacket helps to keep the tank more protected from external damage. Like when I insisted on dropping the Spinner with the Viva Nova onto the driveway about three times in two days, ended up gouging it, but that was it.

I always thought it was Side View Tank, SVT. But in the ecig world, no one really knows. Neptune works.

It's good to know what it's called when you see in on a clearance page.

yeah healthcabin has decent prices but they get you with shipping....I originally ordered my metal sleeves for my first vivi nova from them because they were they only ones that had them and even with the shipping was cheaper than buying from other places and I could get the orangish/copper color ;)

and lmfao@Side View Tank....so now you can watch your juice seep out the side of the tank in style ;)

I've never used anything but Vivi novas and still have my originals which i keep rebuilding. I had them since Jan. and they are still going strong. I think that all systems come with their own set of problems from what I've been reading on the forums and also on this thread. I don't know How many times I've read about the Protank leaking but it's got to be in the hundreds by now. Like i said though I've never used anything else but Vivi novas so cannot form an opinion on that subject.However. That said. I do respect both of your opinions on the subject and therefore I've ordered myself a Protank mainly because they look nice and have a better fit to the vamo and Tesla. I just hope it doesn't leak else i'll be gunning for you both:D:D:D
