I haven't smoked for over a year and a half, approximately the time I have been vaping. I gradually stepped down my nic from 32mg to 0mg. It seems my addiction was more of a oral fixation than a nicotine addiction. I still get a feeling of relaxation from vaping although the need has lessened. I'm fairly certain I can drop vaping also, but I love it too much as a hobby to let it go.

Same here. I have dropped to 6mg and am still satisfied with vaping. I am too scared to pick up an analog. Pretty sure I would still enjoy it. For me it's the oral fixation.

I have lit my friends ciggy for her just to remember what it was like... yeah I hated the flavour and couldnt wait to get my PV and suck down some strawberry steam to get rid of the taste :) admittedly her ciggies were not my usual brand so maybe that had something to do with it. I do still get cravings occasionally but I have followed other peoples advice and got myself a higher nic juice to vape at those crucial times. I cant wait till I hit my first month ciggy free.

I'm still new to vaping (just over a week), so its natural that I still have cravings and urges and the thought races into my mind "Damn, I want a smoke!". Thing is a few days ago I bought a pack (after vaping only for 6-7 days). I had a smoke. It tasted like burning and ash. I tried chewing some really strong mint gum (you know the kind that clears your sinuses?) and even then I still tasted the ash on top of it... and I just couldn't finish it.

So even though I'm still getting all sorts of cravings and urges for the cigarette I know how terrible it tasted for me so even if I want one, its not going to be what I think it was. My memories of it were so good and now its so horrible.. that taste is not going to hit the spot. Besides that, it was even hard for me to inhale it without throat irritation and a small cough! It had only been a week. I was shocked.

My newest thing is my sense of smell is back with a vegence. I was in my living room working on some projects and I just noticed this terribad smell and it started giving me a headache. It was my trashcan that USED to house my ashtray trash... in a completely different room. I've washed it with soap, baking soda, vinegar, febreze... I think I might just have to throw it away :(
So while I am craving a smoke I know that smell is what I'd be tasting and not how it used to "taste" and that holds no appeal to me now.

I am one of those people that just has to have an analog occasionaly. I have gone up to 6 months with no analog and then have to have one. Strange thing is, even though I smell smoke on others and it stinks, when I have that intense craving, the smell and the smoke do not bother me. I think I need some WTA to stop that rare occasion when, if I don't have an analog, I know I will lose my mind. Maybe soon I can catch some of that in stock somewhere.

Iv been vaping for about 2 and a 1/4 months now and im down to about 3-4 analogs a day . Some days one or two . I used to smoke 2-2.5 packs a day for 12 years so i think im doing pretty damn good . Analogs are starting to taste really nasty to me and i usually smoke about half of it . I can actully smell them now too and although they do smell bad i dont get how non smoker freak out and pull a gagging act over the smell .Id still take that smell over the smell of curry . lol . Every week though iv been smoking one less cig on average . The great thing is if im vaping i dont crave analogs now . When i first started id be vaping and still need a cig in the other hand .

I have a good buddy who comes to shows and after the club closes always pulls out his pack and insists I have a "real cigarette" (it's amazing how many people smoke indoors after hours)

I don't know if anyone else notices this phenomenon but when I smoke now, I get sort of light headed...for some reason it nearly makes me sick to smoke

I agree with the cigar guys though...that doesn't make me sick...I'll always appreciate a good padron maduro or ashton vsg
