SO, we've learned how not to display our vape gear. Even more importantly, we've learned to keep it cool and upright.

Most any tank with a bottom coil design is going to be prone to leakage. Think about it. You have a design where juice surrounds the chimney and vapor chamber. When you draw on it a partial vacuum is created that causes juice to migrate into the chamber and wet the wicks. Draw too hard and MORE juice than necessary enters the wick area. Wicks can hold so much juice, so the rest is floating around on the deck. Flip it over sideways and guess where juice goes? It moves up toward the air hole and into the chimney. You take a hit and get juice in the mouth. Put it in your pocket and gravity takes over again , along with the thermal component, unless you are lucky and it stays upright. Juice runs down the chimney and some ends up in the air hole (and your pocket).

It all kind of makes you want to fill a Boge SS Mega carto and just vape the old fashioned way, sometimes. :vapor:

True... We know how Not to Carry our Vape Gear.

But have we come to a Consensus on the Pro's/Con's of carrying a Mod in a Flashlight Holster on ones Belt?

Cons, strapping anything to your belt makes you look like a janitor.

I think a case is fine, but with a cell phone on one side and a vape case on the other there might be a Geek Factor involved. :)

I still remember the guys who walked around with a Pickett slide rule case banging their leg in the 70s before scientific calculators hit the market. After that, the shorter case held a Hewlett Packard scientific calculator.

FWIW, I remembered a box in the closet that had multiple boxes of Boge SS cartos. I broke one out, filled it using the condom method, and starting vaping. It was way too simple. Squirt the end cap full of juice and insert carto threaded end down. Wait a few minutes and vape.

It's not bad at all. You can't go over 6 watts or so, but the vape is like I remembered it. Good flavor with a slight amount of warmth. When the flavor starts to wear off after a few fillings, chuck it and unwrap another.

The cool part about cartos is that you can get away with changing flavors if you vape the old one down before you change (and you aren't really ticky about a little remnant flavor at first).

Ahem I used to be one of those geeks with a slide rule.
