Uh, sorry about that, perhaps you should wait until a few Al85 haters show up and tell you not to buy it, etc.

Anna
Yes, that’s true. There’s always haters out there. I could be going for a Smoant Battlestar, or a Kayfun Prime, and there’s going to be criticisms towards my choices.

Haters are always gonna hate, huh? LOL

This is the worst place to come for shiny-itis problems haha! I haven't tried it but I can give you some hatred if that will help? It's awful! It will die on you, explode and give you super cancer the first time you take a toke!

Not sure it's quite a guilty pleasure this one, but I often find myself tempted to vape the unvapable/unsafe substances. I make massage oils for my girlfriend, well, to rub on her - I make them for myself because I'm cheap and enjoy experimenting with aromatic things really. There's about 20 ml in a 30 ml vial - the same kind that I make test juices in before making full batches (having finally learned my lesson after throwing away 180ml of unvapable mint choc chip). You can probably see where this is going. I juiced up one of my rda's and noticed it smelled of lavender. I didn't vape it - just removed the wicks, burned the coils a bit until it stopped smelling of lavender and then some. Rewicked it and its fine apart from that new wick taste. But burning it off, oh my god it smelled amazing and I can't help but wonder how it would have tasted if I tried a hit before removing it.

Whenever I've worked with benzaldehyde...its hard to describe how gorgeous it smells. You know that harp sound played before a character has a nostalgic memory in a TV show or whatever? That's how benzaldehyde smells. Like dreams. Good dreams. Good dreams and amaretto, the nectar of the gods as I call it. The temptation to dilute some in VG and see how good it tastes nearly out weighs the monumental cancer risk.

I confess that I'm still vaping on gear from 5 years ago. I found my vaping nirvana (Super-T ELA + Art of Exhale Gryphon) and just kind of left to pursue other hobbies. Now that I'm no longer spending $100 a month on smokes I can afford stuff like home theater gear and expensive headphones.

Anyway, here it is 5 years later, and the vaping world has passed me by. Imagine you've been in prison for 20 years and just got out. Self-driving cars are a thing. Floppy disks are gone. Mobile phones can now access the entirety of human knowledge, but people use them mostly to watch cat videos and get into arguments. That's sort of how I feel with the vaping world.

Last time I stumbled into a vape shop I was so lost. All the vapers I see nowadays are toting a DNA mod with power equivalent to a kitchen appliance and some sort of tank filled with burnt juice, inhaling straight from the atty like an asthma inhaler and blowing out obnoxious clouds. How do people find that natural to go from cigarettes to puffing on a tailpipe?

I never see anyone with a mech mod when I'm out and about. Do people still vape on a single non-micro coil on a mech mod these days? Does anyone chase flavor over fog production anymore? I suppose I should be happy for them that they're no longer smoking though.

I've never understood that either.

I do -- nothing but -- mechanical squonkers -- generally with a single, barely sub-ohm (~0.75) coil.

I don't really care that the vape world has moved on. It's my happy place; it keeps me from smoking, and the gear I've got will last a lifetime.

FA and VT both have a lavender concentrate.

I chase flavour but produce pretty large clouds too - not bro clouds but quite substantial compared to cigarettes. In my case I started using pens and then found that more clouds kinda helped reduce the cravings for .... hits too.

I think I'm going to have to experiment with that - although it smelled great I'm not sure how palatable it will be inhaled haha

Only using spaced high ohm coil ( 1.3ohm currently ), only using 22mm RTA for flavor, low wattage (6W-ish )
Still not interested by the current fashion of tiny ohm coil, big cloud, nuclear power box mod and so ^^

I suppose there's always been a divide among different vaping methods. In my day it was 510 vs. 306 vs. eGo and other mass produced atties and cartos, squonk or drip or tank, carto tank or RTA, armageddon-proof mech versus the great now but possibly dead on the side of the road after the government crackdown ProVari. Anyway, I guess spaced coil vs. jig wrapped vs. Clapton is just one more facet.

Umm. Speaking of ProVari, here's another confession. I completely missed ProVape's closing. What the hell? And vape inspections? Edit: I've been informed that my knee jerk reaction to assign blame for this was misplaced. I sincerely apologize.

Original rant: I'd like to state something obvious but still controversial. As a centrist, I was willing to keep an open mind, to give Trump the benefit of the doubt. But he and his appointees are negatively impacting my life. Ajit Pai defecated all over net neutrality. Jeff Sessions is making me worried sick that my student workers are going to be denied re-entry whenever they visit their families abroad. Trump himself is ruining everything he touches from global trade to consumer financial protections to the environment to international relations to, oh Lord I could go on all day. But paying more for imports while watching our fruit and nut farmers struggle under China's retaliatory tariffs, breathing more polluted air, drinking unsafe water, and trying to figure out how the Southern Baptists and other religious right groups can remain comfortable endorsing a philandering bigoted racist enriching his closest friends at the expense of countless poor... This is not what I would consider a positive direction for our country. And now I find out another of Trump's appointees, Scott Gottleib, is screwing with my vaping? I hope y'all don't plan to let this continue beyond 2020. You don't, right?

I think this point is safe to argue here:
And now I find out another of Trump's appointees, Scott Gottleib, is screwing with my vaping?
Well, if Scott Gottlieb hadn't given us a reprieve from the previous administration's policies, we'd be looking at a near total ban come this summer. Instead, Gottlieb punted that into 2022. So...
