I have a confession

Last night after not smoking (analogs) for 21 days, My buddy offered me a smoke. It was the same brand I smoked for all those years. I took the first pull. It didnt taste too good. I figured what the heck..... try another. So I took a second pull. He asked me if I missed smoking. I tossed it in the .... can and said, " Not really, It tastes like _ _ _ _ ".
As i walked away I reached in my pocket pulled my unit out, turned it on and commenced to Vap that nasty Analog taste from my mouth. I can honestly say, If thats what they have tasted like for all these years, Im never going back!

That's how it was for me too - almost. I was vaping and smoking for about a week, and realized the cigs were tasting worse and worse - so I stopped. I hadn't even really been planning to quit, but vaping tasted SO much better!

CONGRATS.
Now, if you haven't yet, you get to go on adventures trying out even better equipment or new juices...

I'm in the same boat. I didn't quit the moment I got my vape, I smoked maybe a half a pack the first day (down from 2 packs!), a few the next day, and then 1 here or there. But the further I got, that 1 "I'm at the bar and I should be smoking a cigarette" just tasted nastier and nastier. My wife still smokes, though she's trying to vape, and I walk in the house like "Jesus, does it smell weird in here?".

The funniest thing for me, is that when I puff a cig now I get crazy flashbacks to when I was 15 years old and had just started smoking. I remember it tasting like ...! I remember that flavor! At 15 it tasted gross but ....... I was so cool doing it so I just kept on till I didn't taste it anymore. At 30? Hah, I'd rather have a sweet melon, or a nice coffee, and not taste, feel, or smell like ....

Peenie, I wasnt planning on quitting either. But the day after i bought mine. Fried my last pack of smokes. Never bought another pack. I just wanted to try Vaping. Damn glad I did!

After hammering the "tobacco" flavors trying to replace my analogs...tried VaporGods "Strawberry Kiwi" and Roar Vapors "Strapple" and the instant I hit on the sweet goodness and not the "ashtray" that was when I knew I would NEVER go back!

I LOVE simple fruit flavors...

Same thing happened to me. I sure loved smoking and didn't think anything would ever be as good or better. After only vaping for a week, I tried to smoke one of my beloved cigarettes and couldn't believe how nasty it tasted and smelled. I took a drag from it and I am sure I had a funny look on my face from the taste haha. Took another drag and immediately put it out. Haven't touched a cigarette since then and that was a few months ago.

Analogs started to taste like ish to me about 2 weeks before I started vaping. I was one of those make your own cigarette types, had the machine,boxes of tubes,different tobaccos. And it all just started tasting like .....

Really am happy I made the switch, haven't even thought about an analog in a positive light since.

About 2 weeks after I started vaping I bummed an analog from my sister, it was horrible! :-! Right now I am with my chain smoking Dad and I have no desire to try one. Vaping all these great flavors, I know I will never go back!

The only thing i miss are the cool lighters i had aquired over 40 years of smoking... now all i have is 100's of dollars worth of vaping stuff to play with!!

I have a bunch of really cool Zippos sitting in a drawer. Vaping gear is much more entertaining, I just need to find more room for it, my collection keeps getting larger and larger.

I think for the first time I have actually found something that really will help kick the cigarettes to the curb without stressing every minute. Only on week two, but by day 5 I had already dropped to 3 or 4 a day and then day 7, completely stopped even enjoying the smokes that I once thought I did.
Have to chuckle on the lighter comments, same here but have found a new love for woodworking to go along with Vapor Gears. I am a bit disappointed to the media/government trying to get their hands into this as a regulatory game...it will be a shame if they ruin this safer alternative for many.

I stopped the day I started vaping, but after 1 week i tried an analog and couldn't stand the taste/smell of it. Analog free ever since

All my Zippos are cleaned, polished and sitting on display. Have not used them in almost 2 months. They will become unused museum pieces. I am glad you are off the analogs, I am glad I am off them also. Keep telling the people you know about how good it is "on this side". Get a spare eGo batt and a cheap clearo and put tobacco flavored juice in it. Offer it to smokers. Help them crush out their last analog.

Similar story here, after being completely anolog free two straight months I just had to take a drag and see if I still liked it. So I took one toot off of a friends cig and realized immediately that I would rather vape. I really can't believe that I used to enjoy smoking, and I mean REALLY ENJOY it. Now I cannot see myself ever smoking again, I'll vape or quit all together.
