My guess would be that yellow is where it sits when it's @3.7volts. Are green and red short lived lights?

Are you saying that it Never goes to green when fully charged?

No it won't lock or go off, it's not cooking my fluid unless I press the button though which is good

It's just telling you that you have a good battery level. The lights work like a gas gauge.

That light should go off unless you're pushing the fire button. While it's not a big "load" on the battery it will discharge it faster. I'd contact the vendor I got it from and see about a replacement. innokin does stand behind their products.

I think it should go off when not using the mod. It will eventually run the battery down.

looks to me like it's supposed to turn off after 5 presses.

yellow means half charged.

Good move, Raven. Keep in mind that although that battery may look small, it has a tremendous amount of power in it. If something starts to go wrong like you experienced, it's a good idea just to replace a mod with an internal battery system.
