I have a magical carto...

I hope I don't JINX it by posting about it...
But I have one carto that seems to be lasting forever. It has seen the demise of all the other cartos he grew up with, as they passed on from tanks around him. But he vapes on.
He has seemed to actually improve a bit with maturity - you can tell he's not young anymore - unlike most other cartos in a tank, if you look at his top, he's totally soaked in there, and a little frazzled looking, and if you let him just sit for a couple days, he'll flood a tiny bit - nothing you can't clear up with a couple power vapes though.

But the draw is good, the vapor is great, the flavor is outstanding.
It's like vaping a good dripper.

He's in a Kir Fanis Varadero. It's a great tank, but kind of tiny. I almost want to move him to a bigger tank - but I am afraid that the pairing may be part of the magic. I've refilled that tank at least 15 times over a period of about a month. I would vape it more, but the carto is SO DAMN TIGHT that it's a bit of a hassle. That also could be part of the magic, though I don't see how.
Sadly, I also can't even tell you what he is. He's low resistance (2.1) and either Smok or IkenVape.

Anyway, I hope it lasts.

lol I've had that happen before. I still have it... first cartomizer I ever bought, didn't even use it in a tank... it never died or gunked up on me. I'm using other stuff now, but it's nice to know it's there for me if I need it.

I was the Same Way once about a CE2.

I would keep Refilling it and Refilling It and Refilling it. It just Never Seemed to Get Gunked Up or Die. Every Day it was same as the Day Before. And I would Tell Me Girlfriend I could Believe How Great it was and How Long it was Lasting. She Would Just Smile and tell me, "That's Nice".

It went on like this for over Two Weeks. I was So Happy.

Until I woke Up in the Middle of the Night and Found her Putting a New CE2 on my PV with a Big Shifty Grin on Her Face.

Well, after something like 2 months, I decided it was time to retire my magical carto.

I rotate a lot of tops, so I really don't know how many ml went through it - but it never really got terrible, just seemed to be tired (and started leaking a bit), and I didn't want it to suffer.


But, lo and behold!! It's magical, against-the-odds vaping performance was immediately reincarnated!
Are you ready for this??
In a stock ProTank coil!!

I swear, right after I replaced the magical carto, I filled a ProTank, and as I often do, took a stock 1.8 ohm coil, pulled one thread of wicking out, and vaped it. But THIS time, it actually is 1.8 ohms (they never are), and I SWEAR the thing is hitting like a $150 dripper.

Great flavor, big clouds, no burning.
Did I mention, this is a ProTank??
Man, it'd be nice if this lasts like that carto did!

I haven't had one of those in quite a while. I'm actually thinking of switching back to Smok cartos, even though I can get Boge cheaper. In the end, I'm probably spending the more by replacing the Boge cartos more often then I would pay a couple cents more on what appear to be longer lasting cartos. My husband has a Smok single coil in one of his carto tanks he's been using for over a week with some of the darkest juice I've ever seen, and I'm jealous.

FWIW, my very first Smok carto went for almost 3 weeks before the flavor got muted. In that time a former member here had sent me all his carto stuff which included a brick of Boge's (10 boxes of 5 cartos) and I have yet to get one that will last longer than 5 days. The flavor is a very little more pronounced on the Boge's over the Smok's for the first day or two. I had ordered 10 Smok's from IBT and am currently using both with equal juices, both 50/50 and both light colored with similar flavor profiles and for my money I'll stick to the Smok's when the Boge's run out.

@ 75Cents for a Boge, I change them at 2 wks now compared to 5-6wks. Using them almost since I've joined here, and gettin a lil picky about stuff.

LOL, I wish I could, on demand, bestow the blessing of the magical vape, but no - it's not under my power.
Otherwise, it wouldn't take me 3 tries and 45 minutes to build a coil for my Russian...
