I have a question on Glycerin

i went to walmart today and picked up a bottle of 6oz. glycerin USP ,it says on it skin protectant made by Humco,then, i went to ac moore and picked up a 2oz bottle of wilton glycerin,it says restores consitency of icing colors,found in the baking dept.Both say nothing about being vegtable glycerin.So which one do i use,i do not want to get sick.
