I have confirmed large shipments held in CUSTOMS

I have confirmed millions of dollars worth of e-cigarettes being held in customs as we speak for these vendors. These companies can NOT get shipments into the US. njoy and Smoking Everywhere HAVE CONTAINERS in qty's worth of products locked down and they are not being released, no one knows when or if ever. This is getting EXTREMELY bad. If anyone wants to argue my statements feel free, but I've spoken with insider sources from the facilities, shipment carriers, etc. This is no joke.

This is exactly why they are out of stock, at first it said back ordered until may 30th, then they removed the date. Really, they have no clue when it will if ever be released. That's why the site showed what it did and now just shows back ordered with no date.

I believe the game is pretty much over guys, unless we start some real REAL hard ball. NOW

That is really odd because I can go to SmokingEverywhere's website and order 4081 starter kits from Florida all day at $150 a pop but when I go to RuyanDirect I can not even get one RN4081 out of China.

You go to his website and he only sells Njoy and SmokingEverywhere products. While you could argue this is how he obtained this information I can't help but be suspicious that this is some kind of ploy to boost his sales... If I am wrong on this I won't hesitate to offer an apology but I am suspiciously awaiting more info.

Fair enough...I'm sure other suppliers can chime in to see if they are having issues. The writing is on the wall and I'm sure it will happen sooner if not later. Most of the US Domestic suppliers receive their product via Air, instead of Sea (cargo containers), so this might be the start of oversight from customs, FDA, etc. Putting our head in the sand won't help.

Well, I have to agree with Frank....smells fishy and it's not a matter of "putting our head in the sand".

I don't think anyone would deny that the FDA is clamping down, BUT the fact that the suppliers he names are specifically the ones whose products he offers on his site, my guess is his "inside sources" are probably his own distributors.

SO...Although this information on the whole has some value, the intentions of the source (OP) sharing this information with the forum as a NEW poster are not "clear" and need to be taken with a grain of salt IMHO.

intrigue I love it, I am slightly concerned that you have 'confirmed' that someone else's packages are being held, with data protection being what it is, I can't imagine they would disclose it to someone who wasn't the addressee.

Also people who feel it necessary to write "this is no joke" tend to be lying about something.

I think the assertion was that some of us are in denial that there is a problem.

So allow me to clarify: it's not that we're in denial about customs issues and FDA seizures. That's been confirmed from different sources.

We've been through this before.....I will tread lightly this time. But tread I will.
