A little background - I got my KR808D-1 from smoketip.com 10 days ago and put my analogs in a drawer since my very first vape and haven't touched them since. I've learned to enjoy my KR, refilling my own with different flavors and getting excellent throat hit and vapor. But that got even better today...

I ordered a Joye 510 kit with accessories from cignot.com on Thursday and it came in the mail today (Saturday) and all I can say is WOW! Using the same RY4 e-juice (16mg) in the 510 is soooo much better. Excellent throat hit, amazing vapor and with a couple of drops directly applied to my atty - it really is delicious.

For those like me who started with a KR and feel the need to upgrade as I felt, all I can do is highly recommend the Joye 510. I ordered the kit with the PCC and also got the USB Passthru and 3 empty carts with the TB (tea bag) mod already done.

I know there are many more models and lots of mods to enhance this vaping experience even more, but right now - I have found vaping heaven! I just had to share!

Is the Teabag mod you mentioned necessary or will the empty carts I ordered be ready to fill with out said mod? I'm really new to all this and want to do it right!

Also, are all PCCs made fromt he same company or are some better than others? I was thinking about ordering one for my 510 too.

To be honest, I don't know if the empties you may have ordered come with any filler material and ready for filling or need anything first, but the ones I got said they had the TB mod already.

Also, I may be wrong but I think that there are more than one company making the PCC for the 510 but the one I got from cignot.com is sweet. It holds a spare atomizer, 2 spare cartridges and keeps one battery fully charged.

I really think you are going to like your 510 and a drop or two on the atty and you become a vaping machine.

Yeah, 510s kick .... I use cartos too, but more for convenience than anything else. To each his own, but I think of cartos as watered down 510s...

Your carts will come ready to fill (with filler material) or already full. I am currently in 510 heaven myself and have my PCC, additional liquid and car charger on there way. To my knowledge there is only one PCC available for the 510 but if there are in fact other manufacturers who make them compatible for the 510 I'd be interested in knowing that as well. The only drawback I see to the PCC is that I wish it had a place to store a fully charged 510 with cart and atomizer attached. That way I could just reach in and grab the ready to go one when I wanted it while charging the other bat and carrying spare carts. A belt clip would be cool as well. (not sure if it will come with one or not...should be here Monday)

If it was me, and I had bought the manual battery 510, I would pull the filler out of the carts when you get them and just drip. 3-4 drops lasts me almost an hour and I vape quite a bit. I have ordered 3 PCC's for the 3 vapers in my house from 3 different places and they all look identical. I can't tell the difference in them at all.

Must haves for a 510

1. At least 2 extra batteries. They only last about 1.5 to 2 hours per charge and you don't want to be caught without a battery, especially in the beginning. I have bought a couple of these Designer USB Flash Drive Case-Holds 2 USB Thumb Drives - eBay (item 190305000644 end time Nov-28-09 20:57:09 PST)

They are awesome for carrying a couple of extra battteries and attys.

2. A couple of extra attys. They last a long time, I'm still using the second one that came with my kit back in July. Human nature will kick in and you will want to pull those nasty looking fibers out of your atty and then find out it's the wicking and you just killed your atty.

3. At least one pack of spare carts. you are going to want to be tasting other flavors of juice and won't always have time to refill a cart if you go that direction and not dripping.

4. PCC. Don't leave home without it.

5. Some juice samplers. Most suppliers offer smaller bottles anywhere from 3-10ml which will give you an idea of what you are going to like.

Oh yeah, one more thing. The carts either need to be trimmed or you need to learn how to line them up with wick otherwise you will be vaping melted plastic in a couple of days. I just trim about 1/8" with scissors just so I dont have to mess with it.

I learned that one really quick and make sure that it it lined up properly when I put my cart on. I just might try cutting a bit off too.
