So I wanted to give myself a motivation to drop the last remaining analogs been debating between the ProVari and The Reo VV Grand back and forth I went, but the ultimate deciding factor was the bottom feeding aspect. A few questions.

I have a stock of 18650's These are the Panasonic Cells NCR18650PD 3.7V 2900mAH I got these to run my Silver Bullet and they work flawless. (As well as my Vamo and K100 when I actually use them in 18650 mode) I also have Efest IMR 18650 3.7 2000mAH that I use as backups.

Are these OK or do I need to pick up a set of AW IMR?

I have no desire or skill to build coils especially sub-ohm. I usually vape at lower voltage anyway. My Vamo or Twists rarely go above 4.0 and usually sit at under 3.5 even on stuff that is about 2.5 (I know I'm weird) So I picked up an Octopus as I can buy pre-made good wick coils for dirt cheep. Will this RBA work on the REO (Bottom Feeder, Of course I understand I can drip)

HH.357 is about a week and a half from delivery. Most likely my REO will get here at the same time. Is this compatible with the bottom feeding feature.

Thanks as always especially for answering my newbie questions.
Looking forward to joining the fun.

The Efests will definitely work. I think anything larger than 2000 mAh will be too long for the spring to compress if you encounter a short.

The octopus will work as a dripper, but not as a bottom feeder without modifications. There is a thread in here somewhere detailing how to do it.

The HH.357 will work perfectly on the Reo as a bottom feeder.

I love new reo owner threads! reos are great mods man, your not going to regret it one bit. Not ONE BIT. My best advice is to keep the contact cleeean. (the one that you push down to touch your battery to fire it) As long as you keep that little contact clean, the reos are great. Since you got a VV reo, you'll only have to clean it once a month or so. I have a REO MINI and I clean mine once a week. You da man, the big dawg now! Everyone is gonna be so jealous of you if you have vaping friends. Wait till you see how easy vaping is with a reo. Your gonna love it haha. :) Congratumalationizsms!!! Enjoy your vaping journey my good reo using nic fiend of a friend! :)

A word bout the HH357s, I had 2 x 2.0 ohms and both didn't last more than 3 weeks each so I wouldn't buy again YMMV. Also they run hot and spits although I chain vape and this was useing a REO Grand. Make sure whatever atty you get has a center post hole so that the juice can flow from underneath. What attys to recommend? Others who have used them a lot longer than me will surely answer that for you soon. Welcome to the REO forum, don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.

You can use atomizers OR cartomizers. With cartomizers, your basically filling the cartomizer's filling up each time you feel it starting to get dry and squonk. So cartos can be a little less hassle, but using an atomizer on your reo is SUCH a rewarding experience. Atomizers have the best taste out of anything out there in most of the vet opinions.. Which makes using an atty on a reo, one of the best choices you could possibly make for a main PV. Your a lucky lucky man. I only have a teeny little reo mini and I keep losing the batteries for it -___- If I could afford a VV reo grand it'd be mine tomorrow. Your going to really enjoy it. That HH.357 atomizer is gonna be great for it. The 357s are great atomizers and they can easily last months or all the way past a year if you are experienced with attys and careful about not burning it out too quickly. Do not get frusterated if you are burning your atomizer at 1st. I burned mine a lot when I 1st got my reo. Its not too big of a deal, so long as you catch it and you dont continue to burn the coils out for too long (they will snap) I would recommend you order some cheaper atomizers to get used to your reo with 510 style attys prior to even using your 357, if you can afford to do so. That may help you keep your expensive 357 for as long as you can. I recommend smoktech attys. They work pretty well. I enjoy them. I mean.. Most atomizers out there are gonna work pretty well. Its all about learning how to use atomizers with a bottom feeding mod. And that is all about being aware in the beginning. You just have to be aware of the signs of a drying out atty, and you'll learn all the signs fairly quickly, so long as you look out for them. (which.. I just told you to do, so.. things are looking good! lol) Basically, just squonk juice up into your atty... Vape that juice. Keep an eye out for the vape getting hotter.. Or the pull from the drip tip might get harder when the atty is drying out. Or, you will notice a slight pressure change in your hits. Or, you will taste a burny taste. Or the consistency of your vapor will change. All you do is keep an eye out for these signs, and squonk when it happens. Each atomizer is different from others.. They all do their own thing when they are drying out, or flooded. Soon as you learn your atty, (it'll take 5-10 minutes of vaping) your all set for a good 2 months usually. :) Atomizers are great. They last longer than any other vaping head. They really take a beating too. You will probably burn each atty for a few hits while you get used to each one. Even your 357. Don't get upset, and don't panic. Its OK if you accidentally burn the atty 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 times. If you notice your burning it, just stop hitting it, blow out the burnt vapor, and if your atty is sizzling, blow into it to lower the temp of the coils. Like I said man, this wont happen too often. You'll learn the atty you put on there pretty quickly. 357 attys are even more tough and forgiving, and they hit like a dream. :) To answer your RBA question: the octopus is not a bottom feeder, so you won't be able to squeeze juice up from the reo into the octopus. Unless you modify the octo atty. I guess there are plans you can follow here on the forum if you do a search. I recommend trying the A7 atomizer, it does have a hole on the bottom, so you'll be able to use it with your reo VV. I have 2 for my reo mini. They are huuge on my reo mini, but I was surprised to find that they do work! I just have to play with how far they sit. You won't have to play with them at all if you do get one. And you can buy pre-coiled wicks for them as well. Any pre-coiled wick should work in an A7. I'm sure the octopus precoiled wicks will work in the A7 RBA as well. :)

What Sterno said. The VV Grand only uses 18350 batteries. The Grand (not variable voltage) uses the 18650 batteries....and those would be fine for it. They will NOT run your VV Grand. Just wanted to repeat the heads up.

That said, congratulations on a GREAT decision. I love, love, LOVE my VV Grand. If (IF) you vape at pretty low voltage anyway, and have all those batteries and hate to waste them, you MIGHT want to consider a regular Grand instead of a VV Grand. With a freshly charged battery, it runs around 4.0 volts and goes down to around 3.9 or so before you need to change out the battery. Just a thought.

Welcome to Reoville....you are going to LOVE owning a REO.

Welcome, sjgold :)
Because you have a VV Grand, you will need to set the 18650s aside and pick up a couple sets of AW IMR 18350s. This chip is built to run paired batteries instead of a single battery.
I am not familiar with the octopus, so I am not sure about if it can work on a bottom fed device.

The HH357 is a great atomizer....I loved the two I had.

Hi, Ok thank you.
Is there any issues with Stacking the Batteries? As long as I used same brand paired and charged at the same time batteries this is ok?

No problem stacking the 18350 batteries in the VV Grand, I keep them paired up and rotate a couple sets.
Being VV you can use standard resistance atomizers, I use 2 ohm and shoot for 2 ohm in the RBA's

The VV Grand is awesome !

I used similar logic to justify purchasing a Reo. Within 5 days I was analog free. The Reo kit is amazing. So is the community.
