I have the worst luck when it comes to tanks (have to laugh to keep from crying)

I have to vent for just a second. I don't complain very much so this is a rare event, but I'm just frustrated.

I have spend so much $$ on tanks the past 3 weeks and I've had the worst luck ever. I have no earthly idea why? I saved up, bought some good ones and viola....most don't work. Guess I'll start saving again


I didn't drop or screw up any of these. I know what you think...operator error (I would probably think the same thing). I swear it's not.

Bought two AeroTanks - both broke within a week (last week)
Bought a Nautulis - waiting for 3 weeks for it to arrive - got here today and it's bent at the top (won't work at all). I was so excited to get it...have been watching the mail like a kid for days and days. I can't believe it's broken (arrived with the top bent)
Bought a HyperTank 2 weeks ago - can't get it to not have a burnt taste, no matter what I do. I've tried everything

So, now all I have is one IClear 30S and one IClear 30B and a Carto I guess I'll order an IBTanked. That's really all I can afford at this point after all that other $$ spent on "high quality" tanks.

I've had ZERO problems with my Provari, which is a blessing because I only have one, lol. But these tanks don't like me....at all.

I have a couple of full-sized original Protanks (with the metal non-removable tip) I could send you. No heads for them, but they're yours if you want them.

You won't have any problems with the IB Tanks - they're fabulous. Just prime the cartos properly and you're good to go for weeks! I gave up on clearos entirely, except for the little top coil ones for my Tritons.

Ouch! Based on the prices of Aerotanks and Nautiluses, I would have hoped they were more reliable. Guess not.

What happened to the Aerotanks?

They won't screw on at the bottom. Like the threads are messed up. The bottom just pops on and off instead of screws on so the liquid goes everywhere.

Yep but I didn't like the ones I gotten in the past. I'll try the IBTanked ones and see if that works better. I'm at a loss. I was super excited about the Nautilus and soooo disappointed.

Not a darn thing sweetie. They were my husband's before he quit and they are just sitting unused in my supply box. They've been boiled and sterilized in the ultrasonic, so all they need are heads. Just PM me your address.

Hiya Tina, sorry bout your run of bad tanks. I have two nautilus tanks running and they are great. If you can get the vendor to replace the defective one they really do perform well. I've been curious about trying a carto setup from ibtanked. Sounds like a great topper.

I wouldn't necessarily blame yourself.. there's just a lot of garbage coming out of China in the topper department...

I've had good luck with Innokin models, though.. seems to have the best quality/performance/flavor.. not that pricey, either

I am not a big fan of clearos. I have a ProTank2 that is okay, but really I don't want any more added to my collection. I have many IBTanked, and they really are nice. Just bought 2 more today in fact. The flavor is much better than clearos IMO.
