Most of my plans involve me on my own, but as of 11:33 last night, I am finally a granddaddy!!

Little baby grand daughter 5 pounds, 15.2 ounces, 18 3/4 in long.

I will have to include her in all my future plans.

Actually, from what I read today, babies should do fine in the case of a zombie apocalypse.

I hope everyone is having a fun and safe holiday weekend.

Mine so far has been incredible.

I finally got to meet my son-in-law. Very proud of him and like him very much. He is in the Army and deployed in Afghanistan, but is home on R&R.

I also got to hold my grand daughter for the first time. My daughter lives in Kansas and when her husband came home for R&R, he wanted to drive to Georgia to meet the family, which was a very nice surprise for me!

And the last picture, my daughter snapped a picture of her daughter, rocking the "devil horns" so maybe some of her grand daddy's taste in classic rock will rub off onto her.
