I'm working my way through sampling a lot of flavors. I want to LOVE bakery but thus far i'm not feeling a lot of love.
I've gone through nearly every AIV juice and bought bigger bottles of quite a few.
I'm loving sweet fruits (zombie, brillig, etc) as well as sweets (cupcake city, mandalime, and so on) and surprisingly liked footprints (pb+j)

Last night I just was NOT in the mood for my sweet fruity vapes and was in a savory mood (might be hormone related. just saying)
I whipped out my VCV "ice beard" I'd bought as last ditch on menthol vape, which had been steeping for several weeks.
It wasn't bad, it tasted like my old american spirits smelled....bit more menthol (I did green "milds", this was more like the reg menthols) which was a nice change, but it got old quick.

I think I need to shake things up a bit - just not sure with what!
I think i'm going to look for some lemonade and watermelon. I haven't tried either yet.

I think thats the problem with vaping and why we all collect juice. you cannot duplicate cigs so you find something totally different (fruits/bakery/etc) but then you miss the cigs....
and I don't even really miss the cigs, I think i'm just meh on flavor right now.

This happens to me too. Amazing that i smoked the same brand of cigarettes for 20+ years with no problem with the flavor. But every few days/weeks i need a new flavor to vape. If you are looking for a good lemon, try thunder vapes. I just got an order that included lemon cheesecake & it is fabulous! Have to warn you, though, all of her flavors are custom blended so shipping can be a little slow, but worth the wait. Good luck!

You may need to reevaluate your equipment. You mentioned an important point in that we cannot duplicate analogs, more specifically we cannot duplicate "smoke" with "vapor". Every ejuice has an ideal temperature for producing satisfying vapor and flavor that can mimic smoke to a satisfactory degree. Sometimes finding juice that performs well is more important than flavor, and to tweak the flavor you need to have a fair degree of mastery over your devices. You may need to acquire a set up that will blow you head off with a good warm dry hit of vapor that will offset the craving for actual smoke. You have some of the best juice in the world, but like with cars your only filling the gas tank, you may need to test drive a Lamborghini to get the thrill of 'em.

True, its funny too because i'm getting TONS more vapor than a cig ever gave off...and yet there is always a desire for MORE!
I'm currently using a couple spinners with either c4/vivi nova/evod clearos.
I tend to favor c4s because of size and production....my vivis and kangers have given me a little more trouble, but vapor is better.

so I am using VV. I'm plotting my first VW mod soon....I've got my finger itching over mouse button ;)
I'm not CRAVING....(well, I was stressed the other day and thought man i'd kill for a real cig, but wasn't a nicotine craving really...just mental)
just not feeling my flavors lately.

Also, since i've been working my way through AIV juices i've got WAAAYYY too many clearos going. trying to finish off juices i'm "meh" on just because I don't want to throw away good juice, but they are not my favs either.
I'm happy with several of the fruit/sweet AIV juices, but nothing comforting if that makes sense?

nothing that is fitting a ADV type for me yet.

Gotta mix it up! Some people are fine sticking with a few flavors, some need more variety. I've been a flavor switcher for the few years I've been vaping, and am happy with that. That's why I've always been a dripper, so I can switch flavors whenever I want easily. I don't reorder juices much, which is fine because there's so many great juices out there. I just need to make sure I have many different juices on hand in multiple categories, and usually just order small to medium size bottles. Not just different categories of juice, but different vendors on hand too.

Some days I stick to a certain category of vape, some days a certain vendor, some days I'm all over the place. Get some tobaccos, fruits (citrus, berries, blends), desserts, coffee/tea/adult beverage; whatever categories your drawn to, and keep some of each category on hand.

I also buy a lot of new juices at a time, but slowly add them to my "currently vaping" box to have a steady supply of something new to vape.

I couldn't agree more. I am fairly new to vaping and just recently found that even the same tank/carto on a different battery ego/vamo tastes different.

I think everyone has been there. 3+ years and i too get there from time to time. Just keep trying juice. you will find one and it will be a slap to the face. Don't stop there, keep on trying to get a few flavors that you can rotate as to not over due anything. My taste buds become immune to any juice if i vape it too long (except for pluid :) )

Also smoking analogs destroyed your taste buds and it will take some time for them to come back. For me, it took about 1 year for me to notice things in drinks/foods, everything that i never experienced while a smoker or brought back memories from when i was young before the stinky sticks were in my life.

Oh and drink water like its going out of style. Vaping will dry you out like lying in the hot desert.

Seems to be a common theme here to always be "chasing flavors". Always looking for something new, better, tastier... This worries me a bit. Will I never find that perfect vape? Is there such a thing? As someone mentioned, it wasn't like that with smoking. I wasn't switching brands every few days or weeks.

The thought of always seeking out new vendors, flavors, samples, etc., isn't too appealing. Can put quite a strain on the bank account. Not to mention adding new gear along the way.

The endless pursuit of perfection... (Wasn't that an automaker tag-line a few years back?)

Depends, if someone is looking for a destination, a perfect vape, that doesn't sound appealing to me either. I'm never chasing flavors, I really enjoy what I have on hand, but I do like variety and trying new things. I do the same with restaurants, some people go to the same place and order their regular, I'd rather enjoy different dining experiences. If I discover favorite restaurants or favorite dishes, it just means I dine their more often, not stop trying different food.

To me searching for a perfect vape would be like searching for a perfect meal. Is it realistic or ideal to find that perfect meal that I'll want all the time? Should I dismiss a meal I enjoy but regret it's not perfect?

If you enjoy what you have on hand then IMO you're ahead of the game. I haven't attained that yet as I'm still relatively new to all this. I can't say that I really enjoy any of the flavors I've tried so far. If I could reach that level I'd be happy. I'm more of a "find what I like and stick with it" type.

Perhaps finding a perfect vape, like a perfect meal, is unrealistic.

The longer you vape the better you'll know your tastes, and it helps finding vapers with similar tastes to get recommendations from. If I don't like the vanilla of vendor A, and hear that vendor B uses the same vanilla as vendor A, I won't need to try vendor B's vanilla to know I won't like it. Alternatively, if someone likes the same tobaccos I do, there's a good chance I'll also like some they suggest. Getting to know flavors, your personal tastes, and what to look for really increases the amount of good juices to bad that I buy.

Nothing wrong with finding a few flavors you like and sticking to them either, if you don't find you get bored with them. Either way, you'll first need to find some juices you actually enjoy, and it'll get much easier from there.

I know what you mean. I've only been vaping since last September, but completely smoke free for a little over 20 days. When I was smoking and vaping, the same juice flavor never was an issue. But now that I haven't had a cig for a while, I find myself sometimes undecided as to which flavor I want to take with me during the day....the flavors are sort of meh after a few days. So I now mix it up, carrying 3 or 4 tanks with me and just changing up whenever I feel like it during the day. For some reason it keeps the "appreciation" for a flavor instead of me getting bored with it. :)

Yeah, I'm not sure why I could smoke the same cigs day in and day out, but with ejuice I'd rather switch flavors. Seems pretty common though. Whatever the reason, vaping has become a hobby I love variation with while smoking was just a habit and a way to satisfy my nicotine craving. Vaping and smoking share enough similarities to make the switch fairly painless but are also so different on many levels. Vapers often end up having more in common with people who smoke pipe tobacco or cigars than our former cig smoking selves.

I think a big part of it is, cigarettes basically taste like crap while ejuice can be flavorful and interesting.

Just tried a new juice from a guy that just started selling his own label. It's call Genny Joose and I kinda fell like all those people who were writing reviews for phluid. There's just something about it. I love it, but I can't vape it constantly, I have to put it down after a few hours because a grapey flavor starts coming through. I've also recently gotten Candy Cane from RX and it is sooo fresh...not overly sweet but has a sweet clean refreshing taste so I switch to it. Between these 2 I have really enjoyed vaping the last few days they have re-awakened my taste buds.
I Can't tell you what flavor GJ is except there is a slight taste of coconut and a layer of grape you can taste at some point.

That's me! I'm not into dripping, though, except to taste test flavors. I just have about 3 or 4 Mini Novas filled with no more than a ml of whatever flavors I'm in the mood for that day. I do the same for my Volt CE3s. I have flavor ADD haha. I'm up to about 40 in my juice box and yes I use them all.
