I just cant part with my Nautilus or my MVP... even after the Atlantis. Any airflow mods?

I remember all the buzz about the Nautilus BVC and how you needed 15 watts to really get it to shine. My MPVs went in a drawer and havent seen much use lately.

I have been making my Nautilus so tight thinking I needed to to prevent it from leaking. Lately I have been reading that just making the tank snug was better.

So I have my 2 Atlantis coils ( both about done at 3 weeks of heavy use ) soaking in PGA along with the tank. My 15 watt Dovpo was dead, so i filled a freshly cleaned Nautilus original with the steel tank up with Jerry juice and a fresh coil.

OMG... it is the best flavor I have ever had from the nautilus, and maybe even Jerry juice. I am wondering if my over tighening was affecting the flavor somehow.

Has anyone removed the stock nautilus air flow ring to expose all the airflow holes? If I could get just a little more airflow I think I would start using this tank again.

I managed to remove the airflow control ring ( didnt loose the spring or pin either )

Improves the airflow a little, no significant effect on the flavor. I tried it at 15 watts on my Dovpo and the vapor was really nice. I think the particular juice ( Jerry Juice ) vapes better at 11 watts.

The MVP has always been my single favorite mod, I am glad I discovered that it is still worth keeping around.

I've been using one for a few months. I got it when BVCs were first introduced.

The air wide open is about the same as the 2nd largest on the Atlantis. As I understand it Aspire had a hand in the design. Not sure about the production. The glass tank is the same as the Nautilus. It's basically a Nautilus with a different tank cover and more airflow.

The fit and finish is quite good on the 2 samples I've used. I've had no usage problems to report.

I normally vape 50/50 juice, wide open air between 9 and 10 watts. I've tried it up to 20 watts with no dry hits. Started noticing it at around 23 watts.

I think my preffered wattage makes it more prone to gurgling than dry hits. It'll start to gurgle about once a day. When that happens I fire it for one second without taking a draw then blow into the drip tip. A little vape comes out the air intake and it's back to normal.

I should have explained that better. Turning up the watts also eliminates gurgling.
