i used 1 of my 5month old atty's to get to vaping though.. so i'm not totally out of luck. im scared of new atty's now :(

Most atomizers have a primer coating that when vaped, tastes terrible! I've found that there are many ways to get this off, but I hate that primer taste so much I don't even mess with attys that have it.

Drop a few drops of juice and dry hit it (don't inhale) until you can no longer taste the primer. Personally, I use baking soda and vinegar but there are a lot of different methods of doing this.

There are a few companies that sell their attys without the nasty primer - instead, they prime it with flavorless pg liquid. Not saying that one atty is better than the other, but my personal preference is not to have to mess with it.

i'll try out the baking soda and vinegar method when i get off work later.

I hope my 5 month old atty doesn't quit on me. I'm surprised its lasted this long.

When you do, fill it up with the baking soda and if you have a syringe (doesn't have to have a needle on it) fill that with vinegar. Add some vinegar from the driptip/carto/cartridge end then hurry up and cover it with your thumb, effectively fizzing the nasty stuff through the battery side of the atty. Repeat until it doesn't fizz anymore (baking soda is gone) and rinse out with hot water. Do it again, and when you're done rinsing either wait a few days for it to manually dry... or do a dry burn. If you're not familiar with dry burning, here's a link to an atty resurrection guide that will give you good advice on how to dry burn http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/69834-my-atty-resurrection-method.html(just skip to the part of dry burning - steps 3-6 or whatever)

Good luck!
