I just spent 170 dollars -_- coild build question

Ok so people told me i need to be safe cause i wanted to go from a 50watt mod and subohm to a rda hero cloud chasing hero, so i bought this

• 2 x Sony 18650 VTC4 2100 mAh 30A Battery *AUTHENTIC*
• 1 x Efest Luc V4 Battery Charger
• 3 x Japanese Organic Cotton (8 Pads)
• 1 x sigelei 150w Box Mod
  (Color: Black)
• 1 x Ohm Meter
• 2 x Spooled Kanthal (Multiple Gauges) 24g and 28g
  (Gauge: 0.30mm,10m/roll,28 AGW)
• 1x Mutation X V3 by Indulgence
• 1x 1.4mm,3mm,2.4mm,2mm, phillpsheads

What i need to know is can someone tell me which of those phillps heads to use, and which wire and how many wraps so i can sub ohm about 0.3 on dual coils and cloud the world.

Most of us use the Steam Engine | free vaping calculators coil building calculator.

Since your question is about which diameter to build at, select your wire gauge, type of build (single coil, dual coil, etc), and target resistance. You can then start entering different coil diameter values until you get to the number of wraps that you prefer.

More wraps will produce more vapor because you're using a regulated mod. Resistance won't matter.

I vape at ~60 watts at .3ohms with the liquid I'm using. Some flavors are better at 70+, others are better ~40 watts. Just adjust to taste.

I suggest learning to build a single coil that's not sub ohm first. Why waste time building two bad coils at a time. Positioning, airflow etc all make a big difference so experiment with that first. When you begin sub ohm, especially bellow .5 in my experience, it becomes a different technique. The high powered cloud chasing concept takes much more skill, willingness to learn and patience than most people realize. To answer your question more specifically I prefer twisted 28g, parallel coils with 9 wraps each around a 3/32 gives me .5 so I estimate 7 wraps would give you about the desired .3 Also I advocate not using any calculator apps, do stuff the hard way, learn it and it becomes intuitive.

how do you know what watts to start at for the ohms it reads so it dont burn the coil

On the steam engine site go to ohms law tab and put in your resistance then for voltage I usually say to put in 3.7v , then see what watts comes out.
For say 0.5Ω that would be around 27 watts. So start from there. The watts will be different depending on the resistance you put in.
Probably need to start going up from there on that atty but its a good place to start.

Use the 2mm screwdriver and 24g kanthal. Two 6-wrap coils is going to be about .21 ohm, which I think is perfect, but you can add a few more wraps if you want a higher resistance.
