I've always wondered if the gurgle in my 510 was the atty flooded or just an idiosyncrasy of 510s. i've been keeping it gurgly since i started my new atty, going on six weeks now! my last atty lasted 4 weeks (which i was very happy with) and the one before hand lasted almost that long.

i was wondering if anyone else had similar experiences with the gurgle

Mine sometimes gurgles for the first puff or 2 after I refill. Means I just put a tad too much liquid in, but it fixes itself usually. Sometimes I pull of the atty and blow it out if it doesn't stop after a few puffs.

callousparade-- Go Hokies! Hubby and I both went to Tech and I miss Blacksburg. I found a place in Roanoke that is looking at selling e-cig stuff in their store. Sherrie's on Williamson Rd. I go there to get Tasty Puffs to flavor my e-liquid and have talked to them about e-cigs when I was there. Hopefully they'll start stocking them and we'll have somewhere somewhat local to get spare parts and such.

I picked up a habit from RITALEE where she puts 2-3 drops on the cart and one drop one the atomizer. It gives a flavorful first few hits and a little gurgle/sizzle (beats the sizzle of a cigarette any day). And, I kind of think it help draw the liquid out of the cart a little better.

Yeah the 510 atty seems to have a very fine line between being properly wicked and being flooded. Seems to work best when you have the entire atty primed with liquid, meaning a good portion of the mesh even underneath the coil. If it's being temperamental, a good 3-4 drops seems to get her going fine. As the cart and atty drain, it seems you just have to puff harder and harder to draw the fluid up to the coil.

If it doesn't give you vapor, try puffing just hard enough where you hear a gurgle, And then take a good draw. I bet she'll vape like that till the cartridge is about dry. At least thats what i've been having happen with mine.

I was using carts for my 510s until I got some eDobits. I just prime a clean atty with a couple of drops, get it going then put about 10 pushes of the eDobit on the atty. Works perfect everytime. Once the atty is primed I just use the eDobit to refill after about 20 hits. I love them. You never have to mess with carts anymore. I'm an eDobit fan girl.

Like the other's said gurgle is a little too full. If vapor is good keep going. Otherwise, you will have to blow out and start again. But... if you overfill usurally nothing..(no vapor/nothing). So, if you are happy with the vapor and throat hit, maybe back off (just a tad) with the liquid, or not, if it is good for you.:)

Sounds like you are doing fine, personally I like the gurgle. Gurgle just means I have great vapor!
