Not fire cured... Flu cured... No idea what it actually is, but it should taste exactly as an ashtray smells... Super-smoke.com i think they carry it

I know what you said. I was pointing to the differences. The "ash" or "smoky" flavor is more closely associated with fire-cured. Most people use the two terms interchangeably.

My 2 cents -
I find that "Outlaw Tobacco" is close enough for me. It was suggested to me by the local store called "Lizard Juice". I tried it along with several others and this was a good match for me.

I smoked Marlboro Ultra lights for many years, and in just a few short days of vaping found that I was too lazy to go outside and smoke. This is the only flavor I had for a few days. Later I purchased a Mocha flavor and find that bouncing between these 2 is all I need.

Thanks for all the replies! I'm going to try going cheap I guess. I've been going more and more expensive lately, and just to make it easier on me since I'm ordering for 3 (now 4 people since I turned a coworker on to vaping), I've just been automatically ordering whatever tobacco that vendor had. I'm probably moving further and further from what she'd like. Also, I've got to get out of being the vape tech for everyone. I love vaping. I picked up so much here, and I love sharing that knowledge. Just, for every person I turn, it appears that I become their personal vape shopper/supplier/technician.... I don't mind my husband. He's my personal chef (he really is a chef). I don't even mind my mother in law. She's elderly, and not all that technically savvy. She can't turn on a computer let alone shop on one. My sister, sister in law and coworker however.... I taught what I could. I gave links. I sent them here. Not a one of them looked into anything I don't think. Why bother, when they can just present me with whatever isn't working right and have me fix or replace it?

Please, do not bow. :)

Think of fire cured as smoking fish or a nice pork ..... :) The smoke permeates the tobacco and alters its flavor. Flue cured just uses the heat from the fire (not the smoke).

I really hate this. Seriously, leave the others to it. If they want to sort it out they will. Just look after your mother in law as best you can. You can't play 'mum' for everyone. I think you're on the right track with the cheap tobacco it tastes of nothing and I honestly think that's what your mother in law wants at this moment.

If it works sure try her with some flavours later but right now absolutely no, bland flavourless smooth vape is the way forward just IMO.

Best of luck Tinkie, you'll need it with that crowd.

You don't know the half of it. The coworker I speak off is sort of my boss. Not directly, he's in another department, IT. You would think an IT professional knows their way around a forum and can find where a website puts reviews on products. Or even know that another website could have a better price. I sent him towards vape dojo's VV starter kit with Mini Protank II's. I guess he figures he'd figure it out on his own, and overpaid for a generic spinner and what I believe to be a knock off T3. Genuine or knock off, it leaked the first day he had it and he gave up for a bit. Then, once my after Christmas vape mail arrived (I went crazy with all those gift cards people got me), I had a spare iClear 16b that I gave him since I fell in love with carto tanks and didn't want use it. I owed for a pack of cigs he bought me a while ago, before I quit anyway. It worked, he loved it, and started talking about quitting for real this time. I made the mistake of telling him to get or try XYZ, and now I'm apparently his vape personal shopper. I swear I'm going to start photoshopping invoices to make a profit.

So sorry you are dealing with all of this. We all know taste is subjective so no suggestions about which one I think you should try. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps you could mix some of what you already have and come up with something better? I don't know if it will work or not but maybe worth a try. Good luck and I hope things get easier for you.

Somewhere out there
www.youtube.com
24 mg Unflavored nic base in VG. It is the closest thing and it's all I vape after 30+ years of Marlboro lights. I have been vaping it for nearly a year and a half.

I get it from my freedom smokes and wizard labs.

Anyone who tells you it tastes peppery or sweet either ordered it from somewhere else and / or ordered it with more than 30% pg.

You want to get it in 70% or higher VG. You use it straight out of the bottle.

Trust me, it's doesn't have a potpourri / soap / perfumy taste / smell that is an undertone in nearly all juices. It is a nice, bland, satisfying vape. :)

It's also real inexpensive :)

Heh... there you are!
I was going to mention you concerning the unflavored base, but I couldn't for the life of me find the thread where you talked about it.

Not sure why people don't start with the unflavored. Not really a taste to it. Cig smokes taste like crap anyway and face it some of the liquids taste like crap too.

Bit late to this thread but pbusardo recommended ePipeMods Long-bottom Leaf Pipe Sauce as a good cigarette taste.

pbusardo said:
"I think this is one of the better tobacco vapes that I've tried. I get a real rich full-bodied tobacco - so much so that when I stop vaping it my mouth almost feels like I've had a cigarette. This doesn't taste like a Marlboro Light but it is reminicent of a real tobacco cigarette."

Maybe this calls for a "Guess the Flavor" session with the MIL. Get some empty carts, put 10+ drops each, of every ejuice you have, put some type of identifying mark on the cart so YOU know which flavor it is, and stick those puppies, one at a time on her eGo and see what she likes.
Some people DON'T really know what they like until they try it.

I'm just putting it out there because many of us didn't KNOW what we really liked until we tried it. Sometimes, albeit, kicking and screaming. The only flavor I have remotely with a slight tobacco taste is 15 Foot Falls from Alice in Vapeland..........and I hadn't done tobacco flavor since the cig-a-likes I started with a year ago and quickly graduated to an eGo (and non-tobacco juices).

Good luck! :)

I think you have a winner here Tinkie. The less it tastes of anything the more likely it is to be somewhat close to a real cig. From a former ML smoker too. Kudos to the Super_X.
