Now that I'm using one, I think I can finally answer one of these questions

The carto offers less fussing with bottle squeezing or squonking as we call it. I run mostly LR306s on my mods and I do a fair amount of squonking....about once every 5 or 6 draws. With the Carto...I'm getting more like 10-15 draws before I re-juice it. To me, its not that big of a deal, but for some it makes a world of difference.

it also retains the juice better, so there is less that ends up in the reservoir unless you're really over juicing it. My reservoir on my mod with the carto is completely dry.

The hits also seem really consistant with lots of vapor.

Now, the drawbacks....I get better, crisper flavors from my atties. But the flavor of the cartos isn't bad...just more mellow. Which is a good thing with some juices. And after 2 days of use, my carto's draw has tightened up considerably and I think I may be lucky if I can finish the day without changing it. I can get months out of most of my atties.

My opinion? I think the cartos are a great way for a person who is new to mods to become acquainted with their device with relatively little hassle. The learning curve on 510 atties isn't that big of a deal, but the 306s can be a challenge to learn.

Thank you Rhaps, this answers my big question about atty vs carto. I am experiencing a flavor change in my cartomizer after a mere 3 days. I exclusively vape Bobas at the moment. once the filler darkens, it begins to take like a more like "molasses" than "sugar" if that makes sense. My question... does an atomizer experience this same thing? I have never used one.

For me it happens sooner with an atty than a carto.

I can get 2-3 days full time out of a carto with Boba's

With an atty I am lucky if I get 8-10 hours before I am pulling it off and putting on a clean one.

I can't for the life of me figure out how people just leave the same atty on for days or weeks.
Mine either loose all flavor even though the vapor production is still huge. (Don't know the cause for this)

Or it starts tasting like crap .... (pretty sure this is because I have slowly flooded it and now have burnt juice sitting in it)
I can fix this by blowing it out, but I have so many attys going I just pop on a clean one and throw the old on in the to be steam cleaned pile.

All I know is I keep mine wet....and can vape them for a really long time before they need a cleaning. I'm experimenting with the steam cleaning right now to see what the results are for me. And I will post what I find.

Yes, Sammy...they atties have the same issue, though with mine, I get a lot more time out of them than I do with the cartomizers. Could be the difference in juices too. I don't vape BB or GJ. Maybe that is the reason? Who knows? I'm sure its different with everyone. You'll probably get a wide range of answers to that question.

I vape 80/20 PG/VG light juices and get about 5 or 6 days out of them. I have an unfounded suspicion that High or All VG juices are harder on cartos. I recently tried bobas and only got about 2 days.

Darker juices are definitely and issue too. I have a coffee and cream juice that is actually the color of coffee, and its only good for a day or two.

Boba's = VG and Somewhat Dark. Hmmm...
