I really like my evod tank because of its ease of use and had no issues thus far.
Then today came the time to replace the coil I take it this really the protank coil I see the longer stem at first it was fine. But almost 10 mins later gurgling and found it was leaking onto my battery lets just say that did not make me happy at all.

Ok I attempted to clear the airway and do a quick dryburn on it to clear any fluid in the air channel and added 2 extra flavor wicks to stop the leak. For now its working but I feel this coil just isn't the same.

The draw is really AIRY compared to the stock evod coil I don't currently have a protank or mt3, or t3s but my question is more or less about the draw do any of those coils work besides the protank coil in the evod and if so. How is the draw b/c I like a simi loose draw but not to the extent of this protank coil it way to airy. Is there a way to modify the draw on the coil if so any tips would be helpful.

Thanks

Personally, I use the 1.8ohm coils in my Protank 2, when I use it. I like cartomizers and tanks much better, thanks in large part to Baditude's posting. I have no desire to rebuild the tiny Protank coils. Some good advice I got is to just put the coil in the tank and use it. Don't fiddle around with them unless you have a specific issue. Mostly due to high viscosity juices. Give them time to wick properly and don't run them hot. Also, don't draw too long or hard. There is a learning surve to it. Good luck and have fun!

I use both the Protank 2 and EVODs. I had the same issue with leaking. I have learned through my experience that you might want to "fluff" the wicks. They get pressed down and allow extra juice. I just use my fingernail to fluff them (without taking them apart) and this seemed to fix the problem. I use a 60/40 mix. As for the airy draw I tape one of the holes.

Depending on how old your EVOD was you might of had the original design coil with the short center tube and the flat round center pin base. The new style EVOD/PT coil has the longer center tube and the center pin is tapered around the edge. The airflow is differant around the newer style coil. I put an original EVOD coil in a PT and a vacuum cleaner couldn't have gotten a hit off it.

Thanks for the tips tapping one of the holes that might be the easiest solution lol. As for these protank coils how long do they typically last before needing replacing i'm not up to the level of chain vaping but I would consider myself a modest vapour
