Plastic tastes like plastic. If you like plastic I guess plastic is for you. I don't like plastic so no more plastic for me.

That's cool. To be totally honest, I think colored glass bottles are very impressive looking. It's just that all of the vendors providing me with e-juice do so in plastic, and I can't taste the difference, myself...but that's just me (and a few other people, I suppose)

Hey Rick, plastic is cool for most, and you are very energetic, but keep some in the tank...you're going to need it ;)

Yeah...I'm a week-and-a-half in recovery from a cancer-laden thyroid that had to be 'ectomied (not vape-related), so since I've got a lot of off-work-for-a-week-and-a-half energy, I guess I've found an outlet, gnome sane?

Specialty Bottle - Plastic Bottles

This place has a really good selection and great prices on plastic (AND glass) bottles in a variety of colors and sizes.

And, no...I'm not a paid spokesperson for them. Just thought folks might want to check them out.

I've been checking their stuff out... and I have to say.. after hearing what others have had to say on the subject, I might be switching to glass myself soon too... thanks for the link!! I guess I'm too much of an addict to know the difference, because I don't let it sit around long enough to taste it... but if other people can... then it's probably worth it. (I'm still going to shop around of course, but that's better prices than I would have expected)

Cheers :toast:

I couldn't taste the plastic until just recently. Guess after 9 months vaping my taste buds have fully recovered from smoking

They also sell Natural HDPE Plastic Bottles - Specialty Bottle - Natural Plastic Bottles - and lest we forget, according to post number 153 at http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-plastic-bottles-e-liquid-16.html#post6120007 , this SHOULD be safe.

I'm not a big fan of plastic. I'm really new to vaping but I'm surprised at the lack of glass equipment. Back when I was younger, and would smoke stuff out of pipes, I would always use glass. Not only was it the easiest to clean and gave the best flavors, but there were so many options for shapes, colors, and unique designs. I've already searched etsy for glass vaping gear, and sadly there was nothing there. Surprising that none of the glass artisans have gotten into this. Maybe someone just needs to tell them? I guess it might be difficult to fit the pieces into the necessary threaded rings? I don't know anything about glass blowing - I just appreciate the art and wish I could get something like a vision cartomizer in a pretty colorful swirled glass design.

As far as storing the liquid in plastic bottles, I haven't experienced any negative effects of that yet, but I've been doing this less than a week. I've already decided that if/when I find my favorite liquids that I want to stock up on, I will buy glass bottles to store them in. Blue glass bottles, because they're pretty. I can see why most vendors wouldn't want to sell their liquids in glass. The cost of the bottles isn't too bad, but it would require a lot more packaging material to ship it out. And stuff would inevitably arrive broken which means that the customer is going to be angry and the seller will likely have to ship out a new product. Considering most juices are mixed when they are ordered, I'm okay getting them shipped to me in plastic and transferring them. As far as I know, most of the problems are a result of long-term storage in plastic, correct?

Exactly...it's all about personal preferences, right? But they DO come in a variety of colors...amber, blue, green, etc. Perfect for quick detection of specific favorites. The plastic bottles also come in a variety of colors, FYI.

GREEN, please!! always GREEN (giggle)

1 Dram Green Glass Vial w/ Dropper

Ask (and pay for it) and ye shall receive.

HAHAHAHAHA - YEP!! I already bookmarked the "green" product page... but thanks for putting it here, in case I lost it!

((Obsession is a problem for everyone else that doesn't have the same obsession)) <-- thanks for understanding

are you sure the droppers are glass too?

I'm checking the product listings and specs right now for you... but I've YET to see glass bottles with anything but glass droppers also..... but hey... anything is possible, right? Honestly, I never thought to double-check it... so thanks for that... I'll be back in a few after I check it out :thumb:

Question: Glass bottles do not come with childproof caps do they????? I guess im wondering which is more important - the benefits of glass or the fact that a child cant get into a poisionous subtance (Nicotine)?? Not trying to be a smartbutt -- serious question -- I personally think glass is nicer, but I worry about (for the general public not my case specifically) kids getting into the juice with easy to open bottles. Something to ponder I guess...............
