I love My VariMax! :) But it's Nekkid on the Inside

I LOVE my VariMax so far!
It hits like a champ...Cloouuds of Vapor!

It has the one - button menu system and I'm in the process of figuring that out, lol

I noticed though that on the inside I can see (ahem) everything...the circuit board, the switch, etc.
On my Vamo there is a thin disc (insulating ring?) on the inside that separates the contact area from the guts.
Should I put one in my VariMax and if so, what should it be made out of (I know it should not be made out of metal, lol)
Or does it even matter?

It loves fingerprints...I'll be making a skin for it, lol

I looked it up, what I am looking for is a washer.
I will take my Vamo into the electrical dept. of Home Depot and hopefully they can tell me what kind of washer is in my Vamo and I'll get it.

why worry about it several mods are like this and it doesnt make a difference, its all inside the tube.. what will a washer do except make it so you dont see it IF you look in there?
the vamo is different, if you pop the head off you find that ring is solid and is the area the board sits in.

I didn't know this..I only have one other mod..the Vamo and have never had any others until this one. I assumed that what I saw in the Vamo should have been in this one...*shrugs shoulders*
So much for assumptions, lol

lol nope even the provari is nothing inside. they made the vamo this way to cut machining costs i would assume, as the board gets wedged against this ring and sits there while the mods with bare boards have to have slots cut on the inside of the tube then have the board slid into the slots then glued in place.

if you were just worried for aesthetic reasons dont, everything is well.
