My ProVari came in yesterday and I have to say I'm really happy with it and the amount of vapor it creates! I can't really taste the flavor of my e-juice right now it's kind of a weird, mellow pumpkin tobacco flavor but it's got a peppery kick? (it's a pumpkin spice flavor from rocket fuels). Is this because of my taste buds or am I doing something wrong with my cartotank? Either way I made it passed my urge to smoke an analog with my coffee this morning and I'm totally proud of myself. My next question is what voltage should I be smoking at to get le best flavor?

Thanks you guys.:vapor:
Oh, and here's a picture. ;]

The voltage question totally depends on
a) The resistance of your carto
b) The juice
c) Your preference

No "right answer". Turn it up a little at a time until it's TOO MUCH - like a little "burnt" taste or just too "hot"...then back down a touch, and you're probably there...

The flavor question depends, too. Is this the first time you're using that juice in a carto? Or the first time you're using a tank? I've found that carto-tanks bring OUT the flavor in some juices, but can "mute" the flavor in others...

Congratulations on the new setup - it looks great!

1. My carto is a SMOK 3.0omz
2. Harvest Moon Tobacco from Rocket Fuel vapes.
3. I don't know what it is yet Lol.

----------------

This is my first time using a carto and a tank.
And thanks, I decided to spoil myself so I bought a bunch of matching accessories for it which has yet to come in the mail.

Very nice! And congrats on your progress!!

Your voltage will be somewhat based on the ohms of the coil in the carto you are using. You can adjust up or down to suit you. Lite flavor suggests your ProVari may be set a little low - but that's just a guess. Too high and your juice can taste a little harsh or burn-y.

Personally I vape (not smoke ;)) a 1.3ohm coil at about 3.2volts, 1.8ohm coil at about 4.0 volts. My settings are low compared to many but it's what I like. You will find your own sweet spots too. :)

ETS - man you guys are fast! With a 3.0ohm I would start at around 4.5volts, which again - might be low.

MY sweet spot varies from day to day. I keep a couple of different clearos handy a switch them during the day just to keep my taste buds happy.
I do want to clarify for you that cartos don't last forever. Some people seem to thing that they never need replaced or only need replacing when they fail to fire but that is not true. They will become clogged or gunky after a time. This all depends on the juice you are using. The sweeter the juice, the faster the carto dies. Just make sure you have spares and change them when their performance isn't optimal.

My same one is at customs now, so I should have it this week some time. Can't wait.

Now it sounds like u may have Vapers tongue, if u have any Vape a real strong flavor like absynth this clears it up pretty good. I've also found it helps to Vape a few diff flavors at a time, I usually have 4-6 in my rotation.

Glad your happy with your device.
