So I've been cigarette free for about 3 weeks, yay!
But, I find I am very anemic-like.
I am covered in bruises and sleepy/tired a lot, tire easily, and kind of brain fogged a tad.
I quit smoking analogs for a longer period once before because I was pregnant/had a new baby. I did not have physical symptoms besides feeling very grouchy for a while after typical 2 day long withdrawal pain, but I did get very depressed and almost a year later started smoking (very sparingly, of course outdoors, while son asleep) again, and I felt quite a bit better.
I am not terribly depressed feeling vaping, but I am napping with my young son, sleeping in, feeling groggy a lot.. none of which I've ever really done (the napping/sleeping in).. I normally have a terrible time napping in the day (even if I really need a nap) and actually tend toward insomnia/not sleeping much in general without my energy level being affected much..
I have been anemic before when I was younger. This feels very similar so I'm taking iron and upped my red meat - but I'll feel better one day and then not the next.
Is this a coincidence perhaps? Quitting smoking and it'll get better/I should give it some time? Or is it possibly an atypical reaction to PG or VG or something?
I'm going to be switching to VG only and trying it out. But if I still feel the same way is a VG reaction possible or would I then go see what's up at the doc? (I want to avoid the doc for a few weeks as I'm between insurances right now).
