I made a Excel spread sheet to calculate how much I have been saving since not smoking and keep track of how long I have been cig free. It gives me yet another reason to not smoke.

Most definitely! Difficult to describe but emotionally I really do feel free, I mean I used to feel guilty every time I smoke a cancer stick and that I was being controlled by this urge to smoke.
welcome to ecf. great job! yes, definitely another good reason to not smoke the stinkies!
oh, in my calculations, i do include the consumables with my equipment costs, so i count every dime i spend.
Yeah, the cig I used to smoked - geez, it feel really good to say "used to" - costs $8 - $10 a pack. I spent a few grands a year on cancer sticks, can you believe that?

I do both. The very last cell on the lower right take the hardware cost out of the total savings.

Personally I havent done quite that well (yet). But then again, I've made a couple of rather ziseble purcheses lately.
My I-Clear 30:s arived the other day, a major juice-order came in today (200ml mixed flavours) along with enough cartos to last me 4-5 mounths. Next friday my new PVs arive (a Vv Gripper and an ImAX.)
Acording to my calculations, I'll hit my "break even point on thursday, one day before the final package arives. After that I plan to set up a "vape-Budget". Im going to set aside about half the amount I used to spend on stinkies every mounth for Vape stuff. That way, even if I use up the whole amount every mounth, I'll still be saving about $100 ever mounth.

My savings is good mostly b/c the cig I used to smoke (American Spirit) costs so much. Also, since I am new, I buy mostly samplers for juice and I haven't bought a lot of hardware yet. So, yeah, I am very happy w/ the savings vaping gives me.

Being a newbie I buy samplers. I have been buying only from freedomsmokeusa. The price for their samplers are fantastic. BTW, the cost I list in the spreadsheet is the average calculated from all my batches.
Ah, that makes sense! I order most of my juice from mtbakervapor so I was almost shocked at the price you had in there! I've been messing around with their create your own juice but I've been tempted to just get into DIY juices to cut the cost down more - I'm just worried I'd turn it into a hobby like I do everything else, haha.
So far I like the juices from freedomsmokeusa. I am still new at this, so I don't want to buy large qty. of juices or try the high priced juice yet until I figure out my taste and liking. The idea of DIY juices does intrigue me though.

I have, now did smoke cigarettes for 40 years. I started out with the fusion look like cigs... that lasted a week and I went for the Vamo V2 and have not looked back. no real cigs for 6 weeks. I will saved 3-4k annually and having converted wife to ego twisted and vamo I'll save another 2-3k a year. My sense of smell came back, my breathing is a lot better and food tastes a lot better. I really enjoy vaping, a whole different world of nicotine delivery. So I am a newbie to vaping and am enjoying it immensely, My wife and daughter have converted also, I bought them ego kits to get started and they are enjoying vaping now.
I just check out mtbakervapor. Their prices are very good. $4.99 for a 15ml bottle. Too bad that I don't want to buy 15ml bottles of a single flavor for now until I get a more solid sense of what i like and don't like. But definitely will keep them in mind. Serket, how do you like their juices?

So far so good! I've had to let some of them steep a few days but most of them have been real good. Thug juice and Hawk Sauce are pretty good, their absinthe is good as well. My mom likes their RY4 and 555 and a bunch more. I've done a Lemonade / Blueberry make your own that turned into my new all day vape recently. Then again, taste is subjective so I wouldn't expect everyone to like what I like, but for the most part their juices taste like what you would expect.
Serket, now I understand why you said you were shocked at the juice prices I listed. At first I thought you were shocked at the low price, but then I look again and see that I have indeed input the wrong amounts in my sheet and they were way too high ... I got confused when I was going thru' all the invoices. Anyway, I get the correct amount put in now and I am even more happy with the savings I am seeing now:
