  I had my first cig in a month this morning. Sorry needed to vent guess I didn't know where to go. My other family ( outside of our house) are all still heavy ( very ) smokers and honestly not supportive at all:( . My husband is at the hospital this morning for a surgical consult for his neck ( c4) he has a tear and has already had a plate put in in 2006 further up in his neck. They kept saying put that "silly "thing down and decide to quit or pick up a real cigarette and I got so stressed I did. After running barefoot all over our rural neighborhood chasing after out dogs who broke free . I feel like a failure and ran to the forum as it's what I tell others to do if they need help/ advice/ support . Thanks for listening anyway I am back to vaping my ever growing stash of FSUSA .

LOL, girl, what in the world makes you think you failed? You didn't fail nothing.

Look at it this way. How many years did you smoke? How long ago did you quit? How many stinkies have you NOT smoked? So you smoked one. So what? It doesn't matter if you sat down and smoked half a pack, you still haven't failed ... and your still way ahead!

Quitting smoking and going to vaping isn't a contest where you win or lose. Every time you vape instead of smoking you win! And I for one am proud of you.

LOL, those people who tell you to "put that "silly "thing down and decide to quit or pick up a real cigarette" are the ones you should be feeling sorry for. They continue to hurt themselves every day, every single day. And here you are struggling to better your self and your health. They should be cheering you on but somehow, for some reason, misery loves company. If you would go back to smoking you would just be reinforcing their habit and telling them that smoking is better than vaping. I know you don't want to do that!

My gosh! Husband in the hospital, dogs running loose and I'm sure you have other things on your mind too - and you smoked a stinkie. Really, don't even concern yourself about it. Its no big deal.

But at the same time, you want to stay focused on vaping and your doing exactly that. So I'd just have to say your doing a danged fine job of it and stay after it. In fact, maybe smoking a cigarette was a good thing. How did your house smell after you smoked it? Your clothes? Your hair? Did you really enjoy it as much as that nice FSUSA juice that actually makes you smell good?

Perhaps you need to be ordering a slightly stronger nicotine level in your juice for a while or maybe you need to try the PureCig if you haven't done it already. Its a fine juice that will give you the closest taste to a cigarette I've ever seen and will help with that cigarette craving.

And one thing you can always do is come to this Forum every day and tell us about making one more day without smoking. Before you know it a lot of days will pass, weeks then months ... and your going to have a lot of friends here who have got rid of the cigarettes and enjoy vaping just as much as you do.

And those other friends and family will still be smoking their stinkies.

Guess who the real winner is going to be?

Don't beat yourself up over it sweetie. It took me 5 months of vaping to finally stop smoking forever. Focus on the huge number of cigarettes you DIDN'T smoke and hold out your hand (takes crazymoms hand, and smacks it 4 times while saying Don't! Do! It! Again!)

Good thinking Elphaba! We could make her get her little chair and go sit in the corner for a while!

LOL, when I was about five years old my Dad came home with a new garbage can. I found a lit cigarette laying on the ground and climbed into that new garbage can and was sitting there blowing smoke when suddenly here came Dad with a bag of garbage to put in the new can.

When he pulled the lid off he must have encountered a huge cloud of smoke and found his kid sitting in the can.

Your probably thinking he was real proud of me.

He wasn't.
