Adopt a Copper Vein with a brass RM2 on top :D. I wanted to wait until I sold my laptop, and I'm having quite the hard time doing it. It was recently out of stock and just now I saw there were a few in, so my fingers are...like...itching to get it :p. Can you feel the dilemma, my fellow Reonauts?

By the way, do your RM2s usually sit perfectly? Like not tilted at all just straight? I know it's not the REOs because I swapped the RM2s, and I managed to fix it by adjusting the silicone cap thingy in the bottom on the post. But that raised the question, how far down do you screw your RM2? Until you feel resistance (but it's still a bit loose that you feel it), until it doesn't wiggle, or pretty tight? I never screw it hard, just softly until it's resisting. I want to avoid ever damaging the gasket :p.

Here's a pic of the RM2 before and after I fixed the silicone ring on the bottom.

Maaaaaaaaaan, you all crookedy-ayss, n' sh_it! :p
I take that as a "it's normal you dummie" :D

I was thinking about the tumbled raw, but that copper vein just got my eye on it. The owner of the local B&M that couldn't resist anymore bought that one, and after holding it I just fell in love with it. The brass RM2 would make it look even sweeter :p.

Nope. 's not normal. 's funny looookiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!

Sounds like you got it tho, with the resetting of the prolapsed insulator thingy.

That and how much I screw it in. If I leave it all wiggly and whatnot, it'll get crooked to whatever side I put pressure on when I vape. If it's nice and tight (not that much) it sits perfectly. I was a bit too scared of tightening it, so probably because of how loose it was it started to wiggle. I dropped by the B&M store and tried the owner's REO + RM2 and started swapping, and it appears to be normal. Not that crooked, but a tiny tilt here and there that you barely notice. All RM2s seem to sit differently, not tilt-wise, but rather height-wise.

P.S: You been drinking and getting that nic buzz recently? :D Invite me dammit! :p

RM2s do seem to vary in height. How tight to twist it down? hmmmmmmm. The tighter, the better the contact, and the more likely you'll ruin your 510 over time, and then eventually short yourself out. (I do it just right. Very tight, but not one iota tighter)

I never tighten it to the point I have to put effort to screw it in and out. Then again I was being too soft before, since the RM2 would easily wiggle. I twist it slowly until I can't anymore if I don't apply force. It's kinda hard to explain, but I never grab the RM2 and twist it like a beast until it can't turn anymore.

The only thing I would say is leave the cap on the rba as your screwing your atomizer on push the power button . As soon as your atomizer starts to sizzle you dont have to go much further . One of the reasons I dont send the atomizers with big o rings is people cant get there mods to fire or I am always afraid they will screw it on to tight and over compress there gaskets . With care your method works great thanks for sharing . The mod comes with a 1 mm o ring a 1.2 or 1.3 mm o ring would be perfect if your getting leaks with a 1 mm stock o ring http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/469322-how-set-up-your-rm2-so-no-juice-catchcup.html#post10727356

I just tried that method. It starts firing at the same time it starts resisting a little. I guess it depends on what we mean by tightening too much. If you twist it to the point you have to put some force to it, or you twist really hard that it can barely twist anymore, that'd be bad. After I tighten it down I could still twist it half of a full twist. I usually just do it until it doesn't wiggle, and at that point it aligns itself, since leaving it soft will not only make it wiggle but it'll make it look crooked. I saw a couple of pics of when I first got the REO, and it was a little tilted as well, go figure, I was really afraid of tightening back then :D.

PS: Why is it so hard to explain this?!?! :p
Let's see. To me, over tightening is when you get to the point it barely twists anymore and you keep forcing it to twist.
Congrats, jcalis. Will nicely round off your collection...till you get the itch again!
That itch is scary, once it starts it pretty much only subsides when you click the "Pay Now" button. I can't wait! I also got some Pluid on the way, I'm hoping it lives up to the hype since I love absinthe.
