Just over the last few days I have started using my 1st rba. I have read time and time again that RBAs will make you decrease your nic level. I am finding that the TH is so smooth and nearly not there that I am thinking about jumping my nic up 2mg to increase it. I am using 400 mesh and 32g Kanthal to wrap a 2 0hm coil. I have tried turning the air hole a little to the side and that helps a bit but is not drastic and I need drastic. I am a TH junkie and this weak TH is making me feel like I am still needing more nic after a lot of vaping. The flavor is awesome but the TH is just not there. Please do not tell me to get a mech. I have 3 Provaris and love each of them dearly. I love knowing the safety features are there as well as ohms checks on board at the drop of a hat. Does anyone have any suggestions other then raising my nic level or building micro coils and getting a mech? I am a total noob to RBas so I could be doing something totally wrong.

I'm guessing you're doing a Genisis style atomizer?

Easy and satisfying TH can be found on the underside of a coil (air flow). Vertical wikicoils don't have an underside. Either build a horizontal coil (just above the air hole) on a Genny, or buy a dripper. that's the beauty part about rebuildables, once you learn what you like and how to do it, you can set up anything you want.

Rather than having your airhole at the 12oclock position right on the wick, try turning it a hair to the side at 11oclock or 1oclock.
That'll increase the throat hit. May slightly reduce vapor and or flavor a hair, but it will increase th.
Either that, or drop the ohms down to the 1.3 to 1.5 range. Hard to do with 32ga.
Id play around with 28,29 and 30ga kanthal as well.
Im finding 29ga at 5-6 wraps gets me in the 1.3-1.5ohm range for use on my vv/vw devices on my gennys and drippers.
Or you could get a mech.....:)

this is on a provari. you aint going to low with the resistance there lol.

there are several tricks to try.
first you did not say the blend of juice as more PG will help the TH or what nic strength you are at now.
I vape 18 myself, and while smooth as silk i def feel it going down. and if i start chain vaping i get a good nic buzz lol

dropping down to 325 mesh will increase the th a little.
so will adding a few drops of PGA to your liquid

you could also try using a silica wick instead of mesh.
at 2 ohms on a provari i would be running around 4.0 - 4.2 volts myself and my geni's are foggin out.

I have read time and time again that RBAs will make you decrease your nic level.
this statement is related to how well the genis vaporize nicotine and nothing to do with TH.
