It's the clone but we need a better charger.
I totally agree, for that money it should come with something awesome not a crappy charging base.
I ll check out those forums :)

I've only seen pics of the clone, and have never actually held one. So I really can't comment about it. (or the quality of the batteries that come with it) Just understand that, like the chargers, not all LiPo cells are created equal. (and LiPo vendors can lie like the rest of the battery vendors)

I have a iCharger 106B+. It is a top notch charger, probably way more than you need and doesn't come with an AC power supply.

If I were in your shoes, I probably try a iMAX B6AC (genuine)
Going to need an adapter also.http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__20952__Micro_T_Connector_Charge_Lead_w_4mm_Banana_Plugs.html

This ^^^ is very good advice :). My hobby charger was also more expensive, but this is all you need for your batteries. Cell balancing is built in, but you will need the correct adapter plug and I don't think the one linked to above is the right one. It needs to have three pins to match your battery charge plug so the balancing works, but I don't know what plug they use.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about using the cheap charger at first.

Good luck with the new mod :thumb:

The charger will use both the main power wires and the balancing plug.

It looks like the Vicious Ant Variant uses a Deans Micro plug. That plug most likely won't come with most chargers. They usually come with a Tamiya, Deans Ultra and some alligator clips. That is why I mentioned that you most likely will need an adapter.

You'll need this for most chargers... http://www.espritmodel.com/charging-cable-micro-deansbanana.aspx

You'll also need to make sure your battery has a jst-xh balancing connector and that the charger is compatible with jst-xh balancing.

Depending on the battery (if it's not one coming with the mod), you may also need to solder a micro deans connector onto the battery. Remember... cut 1 wire, strip, slip on shrink tube, solder, shrink the tube. Then and only then repeat for the other side.

A b6ac charger should be more than capable. Don't go price happy and try to get the best... it will be very extreme overkill and possibly dangerous. But do check reviews.
