I need a little help please

Hey guys,

Unfortunately I can only post here, so here goes nothing.

I recently ordered from northernvapor.ca and received what I believe to be a XL 510 atty instead of a ego-tank atty.

The cartridges don't snap into the atty, and the atty is the same width all the way through. I believe on the ego-t atty one end is smaller so the cartridges snap into place.

My problem is the contact email info@northernvapor.com doesn't seem to be working.

Has anyone ever dealt with this supplier before?

I know there not verified on ECF, but I read a few good things about them, and got my package in literally 2 days. Obviously instead of speed I wish they would of focused more on accuracy.

Am I .... outta luck? Can anybody offer any advice?

This is a terrible start to my vaping career. Haha.

Sorry no idea. But get 5 posts/replies (welcome some people etc) and then about an hour later you will be able to post elsewhere like in the Canada section.

The eGo-T atty looks like the cone from the original eGo. It has a piercing needle inside if you look in from the small end.

If this is not what you have, then you don't have a Tank atty.

Don't condemn your supplier too fast, mistakes happen I'd call their phone number, it should be listed somewhere on their website, or on the invoice that came with your package. If neither has a phone number, I probably wouldn't do business with them again. I like being able to talk to the people I do business with.

I just looked at their site... Personally, I wouldn't have purchased from them...

Their eGo-T listing lists 2 atomizers and 2 cones... The eGo-T does not use separate atty's and cones. It also lists 2 protection rings, if it were a true eGo-T, it wouldn't need them, as the T uses the new 5-click on/off batteries. It also says 5 cartridges, instead of 5 tanks.

They also don't list spare atties in their parts section.

Confusing writeups and incorrect data = unprofessional attitude in my opinion.

If you got hosed I'd call the credit card company you paid with and they will get you your money back. I've had to do it. I hate to do it. But I hate getting hosed even more. good luck.

I recently ordered from them and received my order very quickly. None of what I asked for, but quickly. -.- Their paypal email is college.cds@gmail.com but I don't know that it'll help as I'm waiting on a reply myself. Hopefully you paid by credit card or paypal so you can file a complaint and maybe get a refund. That's about all I can offer, oh and the knowledge that your not the only one that got screwed. Good luck

Ego t Attys as zombienerd said are cone shaped and look nothing like an atty on the inside just a flat stainless plate with a needle poking up through it (for piercing the tank) and should say eGo-T on the base of the atty unless it is the tw version which has the devil head on it I believe I don't think kanger copies this part yet so give it a few months before you start seeing the noname perfect copies like they make of the ego.. Sounds like you got a standard 510 atty. Look inside and see if you see the bridge.. looks similar to compressed steel wool, if so that's a regular 510...

Looks like i might of got scammed. I used the interac email transfer which probably leaves me high and dry in terms of refunds. Has anyone got a refund with interac debit?

I know I may have better luck when I can post in the Canadian forums.

There are no phone numbers, I will check the package when I get home.

If the e-mail doesn't work, I am just going to place another order and put a message in the comment section about what happened. It's looking to be my only choice.

Thankfully the catridges are right. This leads me to believe they would have ego-t attys, but everyone knows what happens when you assume things.

If anyone could snoop around and find a phone number I would be forever grateful haha

If that is the case I have a joye ego starter kit on the way, currently in Vancouver customs, hahaha. Anways, would this regular 510 atty work on the ego battery? From my very limited knowledge it will work, but only time will tell.

I did a whois lookup on the domain, they don't have their phone number listed (Which is Illegal in the US, last I checked, maybe canada is different) They listed the email as dealsofthenorth@gmail.com

Maybe better luck with that address?

I'd say don't get carried away.... The company looks ok as such, even though they may be somewhat new (?) or least not totally sharp on the definitions.
1)eGo standard is the 510 atomisers that are also for the 510 "pen-style". The cone (optional to use) makes the transition from the fatter eGo to the thinner 510 penstyle diameter.
2)eGo has a XL atty and XL carts that only goes together. You most likely have the XL-atty at hand
3)eGo-T use the Tank-atty and special tank-carts. The diameter of the tank-carts is in between 1) and 2)
So you probably have XL atty and tank carts.

Order a Tank-atty and some XL-carts and you'll be on your way. The XL is quite ok, and the carts holds a good amount of juice. (Use it myself). Notice the selection-boxes at the right side of the atty/cart pages (!).

They shouldn't have the heading of the page(s) to be eGo-T when also other eGo eq. (1+2) is present.
I'm sure that if you give them a break, you'll get what you want. They might throw the missing atty and some XL-carts at you if you are constructive with them. They ARE the natives, and it does look "genuine" IMO.

Off course I can understand that this does NOT match with your anticipation....

Dropemcigs I think your definitely right about which components i have.

Although I do have to state clearly I triple maybe quadruple checked I made sure I chose the correct atty and carts on the site. I know there lay out is a little janky. In my order box it says Ego - t atty and the carts were obviously done correctly.

I plan to deal with them as respectfully as possible, and I understand mistakes happen all the time.

I'll have to send them an email and pray for a response. All hope is not lost.

Alright problem solved!

Apparently there email service was down.

I emailed them about half an hour ago, and already got a response.

They realized the mistake and have sent me out an actual ego-t atty. Myer told me to keep what he said was a regular ego atty to use for dripping. Great customer service, if this all works out I would have no problem ordering from them again.

I was freaking out all day for nothing.

You are correct sir, it will work with ego kit and check out goodprophets/ for the ego tank Attys and carts offers standard shipping and gets pretty much anywhere in continental us in about three days!!!
