I need a Pyrex bottom coil with a tight draw, any recommendations?

Good morning all,
Currently, I have the Kanger Pro-tank mini 2 and the Iclear 30.

The Iclear 30 has the tight draw that I want, but it's not Pyrex and some of my juices have started to make it foggy, plus I get a lot of burnt taste hits with it not being a bottom coil.

The Protank 2 mini doesn't have any burnt issues but it's way too airy for me, not enough of a draw. I wonder if I could change that with getting a higher resistance head? Regardless, it's too small for me, doesn't look right on my MVP2, I like wider tanks.

So I'm looking to buy something new today...should I get the Protank 2? I've heard that have a little bit tighter of a draw, or should I look completely elsewhere???

Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for a main tank.

Why don't you just save your money and just plug up one (or Two) of the airholes on the Kanger Mini.

I personally used a dab of elmers glue on one of the holes when I first bought my kanger mini.

I now prefer a very airy draw.

Also getting a higher Ohm head will no do anything to the Air draw, its the same coil housing, just a smaller wire (Or more wraps of the same wire)

If you are using something e-go sized then aspire bdc comes in Pyrex. If you have a bigger device go with an aspire vivi nova or nautilus. Iclear has the new x.1 with Pyrex but I don't know what the draw is like I haven't tried one yet. The I b tanked will have a tighter draw than a protank too and better flavor

if you like the PT2 or want to stick with kanger.. the Aerotank is a much better clearo imo.. been using for a few weeks and works amazing so far. no leaking issues out the bottom because its sealed.. adjustable airflow isnt as good as the Nautilus but its still a cool feature. Plus the dual coil heads seem to be much better performance wise than the single coils.

I want to try the Iclear x1 so badly but going to wait for some more reviews first

The protank2 mini base has 2 pinholes; to reduce airflow you can first just use a finger to block the airhole. If you are happy with the result then you can just plug the airhole with just about anything; piece of toothpick, tissue, scotchtape, gum.

From my own experience, I get more influence on the airyness of the draw from how I rewick the coil with cotton. I've drilled out my miniprotank bases so the holes are big - like 5/64 inch - about 2 mm diameter; no chance of a tight draw on those holes.

The protank, has a tighter draw than the miniprotank because the protank uses the 510 thread like the iclear 30 does; but I would say the draw is more inconsistent than it is tight, and unlike the miniprotank, the location of the airholes is not in an accessible place that you can just block a hole with your finger if you want.

I use protanks, but on miniprotank bases.

oh, silly me, i need some coffee:
aspire nautilaus and kanger aerotank are the two new pyrex tanks that have come out with AIRFLOW CONTROL actually designed into the tank.
They are both 510 thread, but the airflow occurs above the 510 threadwell.

+1 on the AeroTank. It's the exact same as the PT-Series but just with a base that allows you to control the airflow. As one reviewer put it, "You can tighten it up to the point that it's like sucking a golf ball through a straw."

I also have to +1 the Kayfun Lite +, this thing really does put out nothing but amazing flavors with as much vape and airflow as you want.

I have a PT2 Mini as well and I actually found that I got a tighter draw when I re-wicked with cotton. If I wanted a tighter draw, I would just cover one of the holes with my finger. I'd say try re-wicking with cotton first.

If you want to get something different, try the AnyVape Davide but get the latest version because you can use the Aspire coils AND the Kanger PT coils if you want.

Thanks to everyone for the replies, it's very beneficial to have this forum. I plugged up 1 hole as a few suggested and it does improve the draw so I think I'm going to stick with it for a bit, then try out the Nautilus.

It's such a shame the Iclear30 has burning issues because the draw/vapor/flavor is exactly what I'm looking for. But literally every vape is a guessing game if it'll be burnt or not.

For a topcoil you just need to be concious to give it a twirl now and then to wet the coil area.

But once you burn some gunk on the coil, you may continue to get some burnt taste till you change that coil.

Any way you take it you should get an glass/pyrex tank for the long haul; especially since some of your liquid has fogged up the plastic.

The pt2 has a tight draw. Too tight for my tastes.

I have found what I like by putting an aerotank base on the pt2. I still get to use my single coil PT coils and get adjustable airflow.

Perfect solution for me and since I have dozens of pt coils, I dont have to buy the aerotank dual coils to compliment a new areotank.
