i am aware that that is an extremely low resistance wolfe. as i said i did not build that low on purpose i was building for esthetics i wanted a cool looking coil, i know it takes knowledge to run safely which is why searched out this forum because i'm not in toronto anymore my local vape shop knows nothing about safely running a super low build
lol i think they almost **** when they saw me come in with this 2 days after buying the new rda i could have just gone out and picked up a 30$ mech unreg. but i wanted to do research and ask people who did know what they were talking about i usually build around .2 .3 without trying.
lol at this point i have a separate rda for flavour and actualy vaping purposes lol this one was to tinker with and build for fun and show lol mainly for intagram as sad as that is lol
but yes untill i get a dual inline modbox i'm not building anything like that again unless i get thinner kanthal
thank you again everyone situation is resolved and wolfe thank you for the calculator i didnt know those existed

Great going Xander.
Didn't want to come off as berating you but would rather you think I'm a tool and be safe than think I'm cool and be unsafe.
In the future hopefully you will be here one day and a person will ask "Hey just built my first coil 0.1Ω but my istick 20 watt won't fire it"
Then you roll your eyes and give them some wisdom you have learned. :thumb:

see if people didnt assume that i was being irresponsible like they do with most people i dont think they would give negative feedback at all i didnt build sub 0.1 on purpose i just started building and thats what i made
Clearly if i am here asking its because i thought the advice i was given seemed off
i'm not stupid as i said before i'm asking for clarification on where to look for the information i need to do this safely
to everyone that gave me constructive criticism i thank you it was very helpful to everyone with snide snippy remarks. blow it out your **** the things been sitting since it was built till i found out how to do it safely open your eyes and read before you talk down to people
i took 3 of the coils out its running at 0.2 on a regulated ipv mini 2 so you can all relax i wont be gracing cnn anytime soon

you know i dont doubt it like i said i was just ****ing around with the new rda and that monstrosity was born lol i was building it for show not production i have a simple 4 post smok caterpillar II that chucks more vape than half that biohazard does at .2 and it runs .8 so i do know it can be done
lol sue me i was bored and it was so pretty i didnt want to waste it lol besides it woulda been a helluva gloshot

for future reference with that atty... If you're not aware additional coils divide the overall resistance. 2 coils = Ω/2 3 coils = Ω/3 4 coils = Ω/4 and so on. So getting down to at or below .1Ω gets easy pretty quick when working with 6 coils. You also want them to be as similar as possible. # of Wraps, Inside diameter, and leg length. Some of those legs look mm's shorter than others.. that can effect things especially with so much going on. Working with 6 coils greatly increases the chances of you running into problems with shorts.
