I decided to make some unflavored ejuice and ordered some nic base in 100% PG and some VG. I think I remember someone posting that they stored it in the freezer. Is this the best way to store it?

Yeah i think the best way to go about it was a cool dark place. I know many people store nic in the freezer.
I put mine in the freezer. Not the vg or the pg without the nic tho.
They hold up just fine in the cubbard. The pg in the nic liquid won't freeze either, just become rather thick. Remember to let it warm to room temp before using.

Freezer storage of nicotine base in PG or VG will greatly extend the shelf life. Amber glass bottles with polyseal caps will further extend the shelf life.
The plastic containers that nicotine base is shipped in allows some transfer of gasses. Glass will eliminate this transfer and prevent the nicotine from oxidizing.

so not all nic vendors ship in plastic. Not saying those vendors have bad anything, just stating my preference.
Thanks. I also ordered from My Freedom Smokes and my nic base in PG also came in an amber glass bottle.
I get my nic,pg based 60mg, in either white plastic bottles, or amber colored plastic, depending on which of the two vendors I use. I then transfer it to the 120ml amber glass bottles, and put it into the freezer. I usually keep about a 1-1/2 year supply, and it's always clear and odorless to the last bottle. I'm positive it would go to two years with no problem.
If you should transfer liquids to another vessel, try to fill it as full as possible(eliminate head-space) before freezing. Air is the enemy.
I store my nic base in 120 ml glass amber bottles, this way I can take one at a time when needed. I recommend buying your base in vg, as most flavorings come in pg, it makes your calculations much easier, especially for higher vg proportioned mixes.
I learn so much from this website every day. I'm planning to do some DIY (well at least some day) so this is good to know.
