I got a pen style; a M201
I clean my atty every 2 days (got about 5 of them in rotation)
What I do, is i boil them for about 5 minutes in water.
Take them out of water and shake them hard to take out the water inside.
Hit them with 6 or 7.5 volts for about 1 minute, 2 or 3 times until they are really dry.
Add a couple of drops of juice, put a new cart and vape. Grate test, vapor, drag and throat hit.

You may actually be shortening the life of your atomizers by running 6-7.5 volts through them for that long and that often. They are designed for 3.5v. You can blow them out with air to dry them and they will thank you for it.

I have read it before and I do not have any prove of that. I have "stressed" the attys to as much as 9 Volts for more than 2 minutes and it gets really hot and glowing red, and have not "burn" the attys. So, I personally are not too convinced of that, but also i do understand that in the long run it can be an issue regarding attys live. But again the taste is worth it.

Note: I do buy in bulk directly from the factory so It is not a problem for me to burn an atty ones in a while, but I have not been able to do it in the last 5 months...only when I put 12 volts...

i tried Dr. Pepper ( didnt have any coke ) on 2 atomizers. the first i additionally boiled for about 2 mins after the bath and it is DEAD and i disassembled it to look. the other one is still working but it has an awful taste and barely heats up at all. i rinsed it with warm water as opposed to the boiling but its no better. im tempted to try the rubbing alcohol to see since it dont really work anymore anyways.... lastly, i would be more concerned about the mah you are putting into the atomizers then the voltage. ive had trouble finding anything to use for a burn cycle thus far.
