I live in Illinois, and need to call the numbers listed, but I'm terrible at speaking in-person. I've already emailed everyone on the list to oppose it, but have no idea what to say when I'm on the phone?

Can someone help me please? What to say?

This is very important to me and my family and my state.. Please, any advice would be great..

When you call ask the person to give a message to the Senator or Representive.

You would like him/her to know that you oppose any bills that would ban or tax e-liquid sales to adults in Illinois. You also oppose any bill that would restrict where you're able to vape. You're no longer a smoker and don't want to be lumped together with them.

You may also want to give a little info about how e-cigs have helped you.

They'll ask for your name and addy.

Just remember that they are supposed to be working for you. Don't let their positions intimidate you and you will do just fine.

What salemgold said. You are THEIR employer. You pay their salary. The term "public servant" exists for a reason, and sometimes these people need a strong reminder about what it means.
