Fry's Electronics sells 18650 batteries - not sure if the ones on their site are what you need (likely are though) and/or if they have more in their store. They show 3 locations (in stock too) in Houston. And chargers also. It'd be worth the huge crowds to go pick them up (IMO.)

Fry's Home Electronics | Computer Parts & Accessories, Software, Games, TVs, Cameras - Frys.com

i checked online and didnt find anything, but if you say they have them at frys it wont hurt to surf thru the crowds.

my friend just called me and told me to get a cell phone charger rated at 1apm 5v and mcgyver it it in a restroom by a sink so theres nothing near it to catch on fire.
i have a multimeter so i suppose wont be bad to try. and my charger at home is rated at 1apm 5v so who knows?
time to look for a spare charger...

HOUTX vaper here.

I'd try EPO (Electronic Parts Outlet): Electronic Parts Outlet -- they're open tomorrow 9a-5p.

They're a small store, so packed it's basically claustrophobic, but they have an amazing variety of sheer STUFF. I haven't ever asked for one there before, but I'd give them at least the same chance as Fry's of carrying an 18650 charger.

What is wrong with Lighthound which I listed on the first page?

They have lots of 18650 batteries and chargers. Stop spamming for post count. A mod will just delete them. You need 5 non-spammed non-sequential non-meaningless posts or replies and an hour wait to post elsewhere.

Pearland is pretty far from central Houston, and up to 2 hours from Houston-near-the-airport. Also, it recently exploded.

Yeah sorry I found that right after I first posted. I checked a bunch of other "battery" stores and they had cellphone batteries and laptop batteries and stuff like that. Not generic batteries and chargers. Try calling some big electronics stores tomorrow and ask them whi would sell that kind of batteries and chargers? I have only ever seen them sold by flashlight shops and ecig shops.

Once you get your 5 posts/replies and 1 hour wait, also check Social Groups for a Houston ro Texas group - and ask there if anyone can loan you a charger or knows where you can get one,

Lighthound lists Saturday hours

Dema,

Depending on where you are located, Batteries Plus claims to have ever battery. If they don't carry them, they should be able to at least charge your dead batteries for you until you find one. The ones I have been to have been extremely helpful. Frys will be a zoo tomorrow.

I hope you find something to keep you going. In the meantime use your highest resistance atty/carto to preserve your battery.
