RE: JantyWorlds Atomizers

Hi guys, gals too,
I have been using the Janty DuraC for quite some time. Lately, the atomizers are failing terribly! I am going nuts about this as I'm sure Ethan is.
I've had a few with a harsh burn sensation in my throat and a few, several of late, that go caput in no time. They vape great for 24 - 72 hours and then they are either very hard to draw on or die soon.
I treat these things like gold. I gently blow them out at night and stand them up to drain. Then when I am going to use one, I draw lightly on it and if it is dry, I put one to two drops in the vaporizer and draw till the vapor starts and then attach the cartridge.
I use liquidXpress now because I can get a big bottle for less, as with Steve's at Puresmoker.
Is anyone else experiencing problems with the atomizers? I really need any help I can get here.
I recently received four brand new ones. One had a funny taste but I figured it would go away after a few days and it did. One had a bite to it and it still does.
Like I said, they vape so nice for the first day or two and start going downhill fast. I don't drip except as stated above.
HELP! Any info or advise or ???. Everything else works great!
Thank you!
Bug
PS: On the burning? No fibers inside. I check and clean them out if there.
I clean the fillers real good, let dry, and use a few times.

Atomizers are a hit and miss affair. 510 attys are known to be problematic, especially the older batches. They are meant to be treated as disposables.

If it does not work, grab another one. The funny taste you are experiencing is probably due to the primer fluid. Just blow out new attys (cartridge side) onto a piece of tissue to get rid of the primer fluid and drip 2 - 3 drops into it thereafter.

Lots of topics on this one. Head over to the 510 forum here.

Thanks Papa,;),

At $15.95 an atty, they better NOT be treated as disposable. Oh top of that, I was told these came from a brand new batch and he wasn't having this problem with anyone else. Well... And the harsh hits? They either stay that way no matter what I do, or one I have will turn harsh.

15.95 is way too expensive. You can get the original JOYE510 attys for much cheaper elsewhere. I got mine from healthcabin at $7 each.

8-o8-o8-o My gawd! That is WAY to expensive for ANY atty. I would never pay more than $8-10 for a Joye510 atty U.S side(which is exactly what you are buying from Janty and you can get for $6-7 from China).

Sounds like a bad batch of 510 Janty atomizers.

I bought my wife the Janty Ego kit 2wks ago (came with one Jantu 510 atomizer), the other night I switched her atomizer out for one of mine (I use reg. 510 megas and Tornado). My Joytech 510 atomizer (2.3ohm) worked fine on her ego but her Janty atomizer(2.5ohm) would not work with any of my 510 batteries, but did work on my Tornado. Seems pretty odd to me.

Cignot has 3pack of Joytech 510 atomizers for $25.00 ($8.33 ea) -fast, and nice people!
Puresmoker has them for 5 for $39.97 or 25 for $124.97

I don't like the Bauway or SLB made 510 atomizers - measure 3.5 to 3.7 ohms and just don't vape good to me (3.7v or 5v) - didnt last long for me either. I only buy from places that state they are Genuine Joytech.

I'd stick with the janty atties and do an occasional dry burn on them...if you're vaping something with alot of particulate matter in it (dark liquids or tobacco flavors) the coils get gunked up and dont produce as well.. Mik actually covered in in one of their forum threads...

and yeah they're $15.99 but they have a 6 month warranty too...

So do the $7 ones at health cabin. :D
yeah but health cabin ships from China...so lets add in the threat of shipments being seized...in case you havent noticed the FDA has stepped up their game... and what's the cost of shipping on those $7 atties from HC? really isn't worth it on small orders...and hows the shipping to mail those atties back for replacement? :D
