Hello, I am a new vaper, I started 3 months ago. My problem is that I haven't found a good mod for me. Currently I have an itaste vv with a protank 3 and it seems that I have to change the coil every 5 or 7 days. Am I doing something wrong? I think is not a problem with the battery but with the clearomizer. Could you give me some advise? Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to ECF Mercurio :)

If they are not badly gunked up then a hot water rinse may help or you can pull it apart, remove the flavor wick and dry burn the coil if you know how? Then you'll need a new flavor wick tho' so if you don't have any thing for that then I don't know; I think 5 to 7 days is fairly normal for a head tho'.

Hi Mercurio. A quick rinse in hot running water every refill will help a lot. Remember that all coils are consumable and you will always have to replace them all eventually.

Do you know what resistance they are and when you say default voltage, what do you mean?

Too low of a voltage is more damaging in many ways than too high as the juice will not vaporize completely quick enough and will gunk up your coils faster than too high voltage. I use a rule of 2, so if my coil head is 1.8ohms, I will start to vape it around 3.8-4.0 volts and adjust for flavor from there.

I go through just under 2 tanks a day in my protanks and I need to replace (I actually rebuild them myself) them about every 4-6 days.
It is mainly the amount of eliquid you use to determine the life of the coil although sweet and or dark eliquids will certainly gunk them up quicker
My experience is the heads last about 25-30 ml of eliquid (same for a friend of mine) this held true for my vivi nova heads also

When I say default voltage I mean 3.8 is the factory default value for itaste vv.
