i have a glv2 and so far it has been awesome. but i have noticed sometimes i have to push the button really hard to get it to fire. i finally noticed that the black bit around the actual part of the button that goes down is floating up a little bit and i have to push that all the way down flush with the silver part to get it to easily fire. is there any way to make it stay down other than just pressing the shxt out of the button every time??

You could send the head-cap back to Jay for service or you could do as someone else in another thread did and use a thin screwdriver (something like a jeweler's screwdriver) to press against the locknut on the underside of the button (inside the head-cap) and turn it clockwise to tighten it.
You'd have to be careful not to poke the wiring and it's difficulty to describe but if you have good eyes and look inside the head-cap you should be able to see the tines on the locknut.

haha i guess igotta do it myself. i bought it off a private owner so i doubt they will fix anything without an order number or something. or would they?
They will fix it for any owner. Some of the best customer service round...... call jay, its the best way....
