ive only been vaping for about 3 months. my first ecig purchase was an 808d style. i like this style because its small, lightweight, and simple (2 parts - screw them together, fill with ejuice, and vape). upgraded alittle by getting a kanger esmart. basically the same but has a little stronger battery and the tip is threaded so no spills. i really like it so i would like to stick with something similar.

my reason for looking for something else is the clearomizers. i love them when the work but they get clogged so easily. im spending almost as much on new clearos as i was on cigarettes. ive tried carts... dont like them at all. they are leaky and i cant see how much is left in it. dont like to wait to fill when im inhaling bad flavor.

am i being too critical or expecting too much? maybe i cant have my cake and eat it too when it comes to a 2 piece set up. i really dont want to have to change atomizers and get extra pieces if i dont have to. any suggestions?

When I think of “simple” and “reliable” I think of bottom feeders. Either the Reo (wonderful, but pricy) or the Vmod (decent and less expensive, especially when you can hit a sale). That’s a different form factor than you’re currently using, but it’s a great option for “fiddle-less” vaping.

Both have great subforums on ECF with loads of info. Vendor links are:

reosmods.com

Vapage E-Cigarettes, CIG2o Electronic Cigarette kits E-Cig and refill eCigs (be sure to check their FB page for coupons – 20% off is not unusual; once in a while they offer 50% off. New coupons each week.)

thank you for the suggestions. i will check them out. i really just need a place to start because everytime i try looking i find all these ecig parts and pieces and i have to be careful of watts/volts/ohms etc that i just dont understand. i dont want to pay a whole lot but need a clearo i can count on not to go out within a day or two depending on what juice im using.

Well, if I were you and wanted to get something easy I would just get a Joyetech ego and a Mini vivi nova, iclear 16, or evod. That battery with any of those clearos would be an easy no fuss setup. All of those clearos have replaceable coils so that when the flavor or the vapor production goes south you just replace the head. One thing to remember, when getting replacement coils, get low resistance. This means when choosing a replacement coil get one that has the lowest number related to the ohms. For example, you might see choices like this...

- 1.8 ohm
- 2.3 ohm
- 3.0 ohm

Always get the lowest number.

Hi Cali !
I started with and eGo-C..and still use em everyday.
Tried all kinds of mods and juice delivery systems -
They all have good and bad things about em.

A few weeks ago I bought a vMod XL ...
And it has fulfilled 'my happy place' in Vaping.
Hand sized, big 18650 battery and 9ml of juice on board....
It lasts a day or two of heavy, heavy Vaping before refilling.
Does not have VV/VW or any fancy electronics...in fact- no electronics at all.
It's just a fill, carry and vape PV.

As Hazozita says...it is a little different form factor, being a Bottom Feeder...
But I can assure you, it is small enough to fit in a pocket or purse or hand...
And it works wonderfully.
I bought a second one as these now are my main Vaping units.
Be sure to consider them...
VMOD 2.0 and VMOD XL
