I have been fighting with my 2 Protanks for about 2 months now & I'm fed up! I can hardly taste the flavor of my wonderful e-juices in my Protank & I have done everything to fix it. So yesterday I loaded up my iclear 30 and the flavor was so mouth-watering rich again Im throwing away the Protanks. I was to know what ppl think is the best clearomizer tank on the market to replace these with?
I need tank replacement advice!

DON'T DO iT!lol Seriously though don't throw them out, keep them I prefer ViVi Novas personally but I use the protanks too I've noticed some juices just taste better from different tanks. So sometimes a juice just may not seem right in a Nova throw it in a Protank and its just right, and vice versa.
I hear if you rebuild them yourself they are pretty tasty. When I did use tanks I enjoyed the Nova and the Iclear. But I prefer dripping
After the rave about iclear, I got myself a couple to try out. Might have gotten the bad ones, it's a pretty tight draw..Didnt quite bring off the flavours too. tried it on svd , vamo and ego, similar results. Think ill stick with my ismoka or aga t2.
ProTanks can take some fiddling.
I was getting really muted and sometimes metallic flavor, til I tried the following - now I bought more.
A) If you get the "metal" flavor, WASH IT WITH SOAP. I tried water, boiling water, and vodka - no help. But soap (not the coil - just the rest of it) got rid of that problem. Must be some kind of coating that they come with...
B) Remove half the flavor wick. I found this lets more juice get to the coil, and improved the flavor. And it didn't cause any leaking. You need SOME, but there's too much in there. There's youtube videos on how to do it, if you haven't before opened up the coil head of a ProTank...basically you pop the airtube off.
C) Finally - not sure why, but the ProTank MINI doesn't need any of that! I like the ProTank shape and size for a big tube, but on an Ego device, I don't think anything beats a ProTank Mini - no leaks, great flavor and vapor, right out of the box.

I have a new PT2 and tho I have only 1 device that needs a tank it seems ok with me so far. That being said my bottom fed PVs with a RBA blows it away when it comes to flavor.
Define 'everything' please.
Why you would throw them away, instead of selling/giving them to someone is beyond me...
I love my carto tank for a lot of stuff...but after a good cleaning to get rid of metal taste my protank 2 is excellent for a lot of juices that's flavor was muted with the cartos.
Thank you for all the suggestions! I bought a Smoktech pyrex vivi nova 3.5ml & and it is AWESOME! I just ordered another & 20 coils. The draw is exactly between the airy Protank & the tight iclear 30... awesomely perfect!
So the smoktech pyrex vivi nova tank i thought was wonderful leaks...leaks like crazy! I have now found the smok pyrex carto tank and it is AMAZING! ! Thank you to the person that suggested cartos they are wonderful!!
